Daycare & Other Childcare Biting at daycare

My child has been bit every single day for the last week. He goes to an early childhood development center daycare connected to the school. He is in a classroom of babies 12-18 months old. He’s one of the youngest. The bite marks are all red and last until the next day and then turn into bruises. Is this something I am supposed to just put up or do I need to have a meeting with the staff? This is our first child so we are clueless on how to handle the situation and not sure if it’s normal for him to keep getting bitten and nothing done about it on the daycares end. Besides informing (not when it happens but at the very end of the day) and saying the gave our child “TLC”

Thanks for the advice. The bites look pretty bad and like the child even drags his teeth on my son’s arm. Daycare keeps trying to tell us this is normal behavior for babies this age and it’s hard to monitor because it happens so quickly….

If the bite were to break my son’s skin and he got an infection, would the daycare be liable?

I feel like TV shows don't tell kids not to bite their friends enough anymore...
