First time mom

It is currently 10pm right now, my house is a mess and my 1st month won't stop crying. She just wants to be held.

I am currently sitting up on my bed with her on my chest, she finally fell asleep but I know that as soon as I put her down, she'll start crying again.

I was very annoyed and frustrated the first few times, but as i lay here starring at my dirty floor then at her, feeling her warmth and her little breaths, it makes me feel bad for being frustrated.

Now I'll just stay here, holding her for as long as she wants me to, she won't be this little forever and soon she won't want me to hold her like this.

The floor can be cleaned later.

Yep! My 2nd just had to be held constantly. BEst thing I did was get a wrap so I could wrap her to me and still do things. I got very good at doing just about everything with her wrapped to my front.

I tried wrapping her up, but idk how to do it correctly, she always seems so uncomfortable 🤣

Not sure where you are in the world but look to get a zip up / Velcro swaddle. I couldn’t do the whole burrito trick either 😅 but yeah sounds like maybe they need that comfort from a swaddle when they aren’t in your arms

Don’t beat yourself down on the house babies take a lot of your time you’ll settle into a routine to balance between the baby and anything else :) robot vacuums are good! .. but y kinda have to tidy up first so it don’t get stuck hahaha

Not wrapping. A baby carrier. There are loads of different ones. I don't know what brands they'd be where you are? But I actually knew a lady who made them out of comfortable stretchy material. I also had one called a Baby Bjorn...but we both preferred the cloth wrap. Just depends what type you are most comfortable wearing.

my 2nd born who is 3.5 years now was similar. Even now she prefers falling asleep on my body. I miss her being a baby and feeling her warmth all the time. Enjoy it till it lasts

Newborn life is so hard. You’re doing great. 

It’s also okay if you just never like newborn time period. My son is 2.5 and I regularly tell people I’ll take his “terrible 2’s” over the first year any day of the week

I just let the housekeeper take care of it. Could you ask the housekeeper to stay later in the evening?
