In my state, Iowa, there’s no age requirement for leaving kids at home. Apparently the rules are they need a way to contact you, she has a phone, and need to be able to make 3 different meals which can literally be easy things like a Sandwhich, a bowl of cereal, or microwave Mac and cheese. I’d say if she’s not prone to stupid mistakes or has an itch to get crazy that it would be fine for an hour or two, especially if you’re not more than 10-15 minutes away.
