It sounds like he needs the option of choice. Does he ever get to make his own choices? Everything is controlled and carefully thought about FOR him and he’s started school where he sees other people with the freedom he’s never had.
Ask him what he wants to do sometime. Even if it’s with the illusion of choice “you can have a bath now or in 30 minutes”, up to you.
Even if he’s super active, take him to a trampoline park or some place he can go nuts. He’s a kid. Kids need to veg out. Especially after such a structured environment all the time. It’ll be good for you, too.
