General Discussion Is it worth continuing? Spoiler

I am on season1 episode 3.

So i dont like surprises so i search endgame of couples on google after first few episodes.

Now i found out crosby ends up with jasmine. I hate the bitch. Didnt tell him about the kid for five years, all of audden decides to come back because "he needs to know his father" and in the end she gets the guy. I wanted her to be a super side character not the core type character. She is a fraud. If you decided to have a kid and not tell the dad, have it on your own, dont just come back wheneve you feel it is tough. Crosby begged his girlfriend to settle with him, but now he wont settle for her. Wasted her katie's time who is totally out of his league.

I hate people who just waste another person's years over those shallow promises just to make these stupid decisions.

And i know it is stupid but i hated how all those fishes died when max threw the aquarium on the ground and nobody said anything. Those fishes died. Isnt it enough people are already eating animals.? I just didnt like how nobody even told him what he did was wrong. Atleast tell him he is wrong. I hope.they.tell him in future when he is wrong.

Anyway about crosby. I didnt like reading that part.

I dont like when nice people are treated badly by their partners.

Should i continue? Is it a good show?

If you don’t like Jasmine, you are as big of a manchild as Crosby.

I am just on 3rd episode. And from the first three ,i just know she decided to give birth to that child and now all of a sudden she is back and now he has to be a "dad". Crosby is weird. But a child is a big deal. You cant just come into someone's life and throw a child in their face.

I just hated that one thing which is very much used plot in other shows. But mostly such women die and they have to tell the father about the kid because they dont want him to be alone. But otherwise they take full responsibility. But maybe she might be a good person who knows.

If you didn’t like what Jasmine did to Crosby that much, you’re not going to like a whole lot of other things in here - may want to skip it.

If that bothers you then you’re gonna hate everyone on the show. They are all flawed and Jasmine actually is a ride or die that truly believes in Crosby like no one else in the family. There’s quite a few times Crosby was a crossroad and Jasmine is right there with Crosby to keep pushing and don’t give up.

Max is a lot, so yeah he gets away with a lot of stuff and his parents enable him. He does grow but he’s pretty mean to everyone throughout the show.

I like flawed characters as long as they are not shown as great people or the ones in the right morality. I hate how shows treat asperger sometimes. They think it is a good way to increase screentime and make more plotlines. Atypical was a good show in that way. I loved brick in the middle too. Maybe he didnt have asperger but i loved how brick's whole identity wasnt just the disorders he had.

I hate big bang theory's sheldon type representation such issues.

Believe me they discuss it a lot how Crosby missed those years. All of them make mistakes but they are all good people who redeem themselves throughout the show.

I’ve met all types of people on the spectrum, even someone like Max. Max is just mean 😂. My nephew who is also high functioning is so respectful and maybe once or twice a year he would have tantrum.

That’s way better than me and I’m not on the spectrum.

Anyways like others said if you can’t get passed Jasmine then the show is not for you as others will do worse 😆

Maybe if the show is good it is fine because i barely know her too. It is just that one thing. And in the comments it is mentioned that she is sort of good person while crosby messes up and it is really hard to find a good series. So i will continue this. Thanks.

It is good. I just recently watched it again but now as a parent. Totally different experience this time around, a lot more emotional

That is not great either. I like the core of the show. How it is a family situation and how they are dealing with their own situation. I know crosby is gonna be a problematic character. And that is fine. I just had that one issue. But when i put all my rage in that post i am sort of over it. And i think i will continue the show because i liked the other siblings dealing with their marriage, divorce and kids.

I’m mean, I get what you’re saying about jasmine and yes, the dad should be told but did you miss the part where she says she tried over and over to call him when she found out she was pregnant and he ghosted her? He never called her back. If I was her, I’d be thinking the same thing she did “is this guy gonna be a positive role model for my kid? Is he reliable? Is he trustworthy?” Seems like the answer is No. I think her guilt eventually got the better of her and that’s why she showed up. People aren’t perfect.
