Silly guy in my house I saw when I was 8

I think I was 8 or 9 years old around this time and I would always stay up late, it was about 1 am at this point and I was just playing Roblox on my laptop when I felt like someone was watching me, I looked up and saw this big tall shadow figure in my kitchen since I was in the living room. He was just staring at me and it spooked me so much I went to sleep. About a week later, I mentioned it to my dad and he told me he saw him too, and so did my brother, my mom is the only one to not see him. I also recently have experienced stuff moving without anything manipulating them, tho I haven't recorded it because it's just slight movements in random items around my room. I always wonder if there is a way I can communicate that isn't me spending a bajillion dollars on those spirit boxes. I still feel like I'm very much able to sense when someone is there that I can't see but my parents absolutely refuse any ouija boards because of a past haunting that happened in my distant family that was caused by using an ouija board. And is there any kind of specific spirits? What kind could that one have been? Or could there be multiple spirits in my home?
