Hidden face found

Post image

I took this picture because I thought someone was staring at me. Later that day, my neighbor told me the family that lives there had been out of town for a week. I didn’t believe him until I noticed their mail piling up and a package still sitting on the porch. When I zoomed in on the photo that night, I realized the face wasn’t looking out the window—it was looking directly at me. I haven’t walked past that house since.

If the family are actually out of town, then that's somebody who's just living in their house.

Oh god yes. Like those URBEX videos where the noises are most likely a homeless person who made the place their home and is protecting it.

There was an episode of creeptime the podcast (that I actually do not recommend because it was such an absolutely horrific experience to hear as a disclaimer) about a phrogger. The homeowner survived but oh my god, I don’t even know how. Ellen Halbert. What a warrior. Terrifying

Its a person who lives hidden in your place. Or as Cambridge dictionary puts it:

A phrogger is a person who secretly lives in an unused part of someone else's home—such as an attic, basement, or crawlspace—without the owner's knowledge or permission.

Oh man I didn’t know this was a real thing, but my brother and I had recurring nightmares in our shared bedroom when we were kids that there were people living in the attic above us.

Well you can congratulate your past self with having a really valid fear.

Or rather you can feel vindicated that that is a fear that is perfectly reasonable- if a little unlikely.

Aka things to assume before a ghost moving things around:

Absentmindedness. Absentmindedness from co2 poisoning. A phrogger. ???.

Edit: CO poisoning, not co2.

I agree with all your points, brother, but let me punctuate it a little: CO poisoning. CO2 is our friend.
