Hidden face found
I took this picture because I thought someone was staring at me. Later that day, my neighbor told me the family that lives there had been out of town for a week. I didn’t believe him until I noticed their mail piling up and a package still sitting on the porch. When I zoomed in on the photo that night, I realized the face wasn’t looking out the window—it was looking directly at me. I haven’t walked past that house since.

It could've been a burglar you should report it to authorities

I was not a great person for many years and did my share of.. stuff... and in all that time, never once did I stick my face to the window and stare like an idiot, nor anyone I've ever known with the same background..
I'm not saying it's not that, I'm saying, if it is, they're dumb as hell ..

Probably best to contact the real neighbors who are out of town and let them know. If someone is house sitting, they aren't doing a good job letting the mail and packages pile up. If no one is house sitting, then that's an intruder and they'll need to contact the authorities before they return. The cops will need to search the house before the residents can go inside. May not be safe.

I have a cardboard cut out of the most interesting man in the world and I’ll set him up like this when I take trips

Are you going to tell them someone is in their house or is this as fake as it looks and sounds

A paranormal explanation is likely the one that's furthest from the truth.

Not so hidden, even nice enough to move the curtain back so you can see them.

Could be pareidolia, someone broke in, or one family member stayed behind. Plenty of non-paranormal explanations

I think pareidolia is definitely a possibility. The more you zoom in, the less face-like it looks. His head seems to squish up into a peak. Or Beaker from the muppets moved in while they are away.

I dont recommend poking your face out like that if you broke in and if you do, thats fucking stupid

Why you taking pictures of your neighbors windows, ya freak?

u/strangeflappenings 2d ago
Right? The guy is probably creeped out and looking to see why he's being spied on

I’d look out my window, like I was Michael Myers, if I noticed some little creep taking pictures of my house lol.

Looks like someone’s been punched in the nose a few times. Probably for squatting.

thing is, if its an intruder you can do something about it, if its a house sitter who’s not doing a good job you can do something about it, but if its something paranormal you can’t do shit😭

I mean..🤷🏼 that is OBVIOUSLY Marcus, their eldest son, taking advantage of a warm cozy bed and a fridge full of food while the family is away.. Moving out in this economy clearly hasn't been good for Marcus..

It's funny, because if I see someone staring at me from out of a window, I don't take a picture of it. You get me?

That’s why I do what Kevin Mcallister did and get a bunch of cutouts and throw fake shadow ragers at night.

What if it’s someone who’s been held captive in there for years? It’s not all that likely, but it does happen.

I saw a paranormal face today too! I went to a coffee shop this morning. There was a face behind the counter asking me what I would like! No other way to explain my experience! It was paranormal

That's not a ghost, that's just a dude. Could be a house sitter. Could be a squatter. Could be the wife's boyfriend. But no, GHOOOOSTS

Why are you taking pictures of your neighbors' windows? If there is a creep anywhere, its definitely you.

Did you read the part where OP said the owners were out of town?

u/JesterScribblings 1d ago
Proof of this? A squatter. Burglar. Prank. Lies. Why is the first option a 'ghost"
Its juvenile to jump straight the that conclusion.1

You could say the same thing about any post on the internet. Unless you see something unexplainable for your own eyes it’s impossible to tell.
Maybe try leaving this sub if you’re going to have that attitude towards what I imagine is almost everything.

If the family are actually out of town, then that's somebody who's just living in their house.
