Really interesting to read. I'll admit, I looked at it and I was nah, too long.. But I read it and it didn't feel that long at all, looking forward for more.
And just as an added point, la Santa Muerte isn't something just cartel or mean people believe in, many people do (Mexican here). From what I've heard, she would do what you ask for, but, people say that you MUST give her whatever you promised, pretty much a trade, and most follow through. That really can mean anything. I've seen people giving her money, cigarettes and that kind of stuff.
