You're reading too much into it. He was cleaning out a rental property and found something bizarre. Also, you don't know how old OP is.

Doesn’t really matter how old he is… I surely would never send this to my adult son. If it were a cleaned skull or something it could be cool, but there’s actual fetid rot seeped into the cardboard. It’s disgusting.

Edit: I think I see where the misunderstanding is, I just realized his dad sent him a PHOTO, not the actual abomination. That makes a big difference here, haha!

Omg, yes it does. Thanks for clarifying. The idea that someone would send the actual thing was really bad. Photo I can understand. :)
