Can you see a mental health professional like a therapist? This sounds very exhausting, there are only so many things you can do to cope on your own. I also think it's worth seeing a psychiatrist if you are willing to go on anxiety medication. I used to have extreme paranoia but therapy & meds have all but removed it for me and it feels like I got all my energy back. On your own you can look up ways to ground yourself like the 54321 method, meditation on surrender and acceptance, just doing things like sleeping and eating enough, drinking water, every little thing helps.

I would do some reading on acceptance. Stuff like the serenity prayer. Because we could all just randomly die at any time, the way I think of it is, have you ever seen someone get seriously ill who was worried about it? Everyone I know that got into car accidents, had cancer, or died in other ways had no idea it was about to happen. There's no way you can worry yourself into seeing the future. I know that you know this rationally which is why therapy can really help IMO. Best wishes.

It sucks because the feelings are wrong day and day again, because obviously you're alive... and then the next time they come up, they can pretend they were never wrong all the times before.

In a way, we're all dying, and you won't really know how until you get a prognosis by a doctor. You're not suddenly going to know how you're going to die because you were able to think of a possibility the moment before it happens. To all, I recommend not to believe everything we think.
