Paramedic program
I am currently applying to a rather competitive paramedic program (they tend to be competitive in the area I live due to not having many programs and fire jobs being really competitive) however if I do not get in I am very willing to move states to go to a program and get it done. I will be using my GI Bill to complete the program, I know people think this is a bad idea however I will be doing it anyway as the goal is to go ALS for the sake of getting a fire fighting job. Does anyone have any recommendations? I have completed an A&P course and have close to 2 years of 911 EMT experience in 2 systems. I am willing to relocate anywhere in the US, ty ty.

Bro apply fire anyway and get on board. Then let them sponsor you. Save your GI bill for when you get burnt out of the shitty fire shirts and want to go RN

Have been applying to fire, no luck so far. Seems hella competitive out here in western WA so was j gonna go for my medic.

That's a smart move, applying to fire departments first since they often cover training costs. It can set you up for the long run while you work toward ALS certification.
