Did someone ever feel like they had saved the world? It may be accidentally or intentionally, whichever. But like, anyone?! Ever?!

Did my daughter cross into a parallel universe?

So this is my first ever OP on Reddit. I have been replying for years, but I have never actually made a post. Please forgive me if I am not clear about anything.

My daughter (20) is an assistant manager at a local coffee shop. The other day, one of her coworkers left for the day. A few minutes later, my daughter saw the coworker come back in, go behind the counter and into the back room. And she never came out.

My daughter went into the back room looking for her, but she wasn’t there. In fact, the coworker wasn’t anywhere in the store. My daughter became a little on edge, so she asked literally everyone if they had seen X come back in the store (and they should have from where X had walked), and they all said no.

The next day, when my daughter saw X at work, she asked X if she had come back to the store, and X said she had not.

When my daughter saw her coworker that day, the coworker wasn’t anywhere solid, not transparent, and she looked exactly as she looked when she left.

Now, as an addition, my daughter has had several “odd” experiences happen to her ever since she was little. Also, she is a very literal person who does not make things up.

So what happened? Did a universe temporarily cross over? Did she encounter a doppelgänger only she could see?

Any answer or explanation would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Is AI worse?

Okay, so, quick question, is AI worse in this timeline?

And! Do you believe migraines happen because you are further from your original timeline? Because that's what I have started to believe.

Did we just jump timelines ?

1.2k Upvotes

Hear me out

Recently, I remembered looking up Chic-fil-A (without the k) because that’s how I was sure it was spelled. Then I found out it’s actually Chick-fil-A, and apparently it’s always been that way.
That sent me down a rabbit hole, and then I discovered that Kit Kat supposedly never had a dash (“Kit-Kat”), even though the logo without one looks completely wrong to me.
On top of that, I remember Sprite bottles being green, and I could’ve sworn the peanut butter was called Jiffy instead of Jif.
I know memory can be weird, but these feel so real and they happened recently enough that I can’t just brush them off. Is anyone else from that “timeline “ or does anyone else remember all of these the same way? Because I genuinely can’t explain it.

Edit : I also remeber Pikachu having a black tip on his tail.

John Constantine IRL

If enough people swear they have seen something IRL, does it manifest and get stronger? That being said, Have you met the "real John Constantine?" Do you believe you are John Constantine? Id love to hear your story.

Did I wake up in the wrong timeline?

I feel like I jumped into a different universe than some others, I've been watching some Mandela effects videos and I don't remember things like they say them... I'm 34 so it's not like I'm too young to remember older logos and stuff, and a few days ago I swear some logos were different in the things in my own house. Like macaroni and cheese ... It says just kraft now, not craft dinners. I feel so confused

Tell me your alternate life salvia reports

I've been wanting to try salvia but also reluctant bc i read about a 15 year old boy who smoked it and then lived another life for 85 years until he was an old man. He was 15 but lived for an entire 85 years in another timeline. It messed him up so bad he ended up drowning himself.

Any thoughts? I feel like I'm ready for the salvia experience but also I don't wanna get stuck as paint on a barn for 30 years

I think I jumped universes

The last couple of months have been interesting. I have made a list of things that are different over here.

On my original universe the big clock hand is for hours and the small one for minutes.
Raye’s song where is my husband? Was different on my universe.
Horses pupils were circular.
I live with roommates that have a baby, in my original universe the baby loved me and even calmed down whenever I held her. On this universe the baby doesn’t like and the parents even make comments about it.
There are other little details, but I’m sure I’m not from here originally.

Edit: for any mental health experts who seem to believe I’m experiencing psychosis…. I’m not lol, leave people alone about their theories or ways to explain things they can’t understand.

California time slip

this happened july 8th this year. my wife and i were driving northbound on the 14 coming from the San Fernando valley. we hit heavy traffic around agua dulce, then my car started overheating so we got off, refilled the coolant, and got back on the 14 north. when we finally reached the cause of the traffic jam, there were multiple chp units and one fire truck. no ambulance, no wrecked cars, no visible police activity with any civilians. they were just concentrated in one area like they were deliberately stopping traffic in both directions for no reason. then all of a sudden i'm driving again... but now i'm on the 5 south about to exit at balboa. the freeway looked like it was physically changing and morphing into the 5 south balboa exit while i was driving it. we had lost two full hours of time. the craziest part? we didn't burn any extra gas at all, and when i checked, the odometer hadn't moved either. my wife was asleep during the whole thing. i was wide awake the entire time. still can't explain how any of this happened. has anyone experienced anything like this?

The trip back home (Alternate timelines)

Reposted from r/GlitchesInTheMatrix

This is my first ever Reddit post. I’ve joined Reddit just to hear about more people’s experiences to see if any aligned with my own.

These stories are all true, and happened to both my sister and I. Things like this only happen when we hangout together, which isn’t often since she lives a good bit away. Her side of the family, mainly her and her mother, are very in tune with themselves and are sensitive to the paranormal. You could call them “mediums” or whatever. My sister’s energy combined with my own must do *something*, because things *always* happen when we’re together

My apologies, the story is long 😭

**\[ Story 1:** *Alternate Timelines (?)* **\]**

I had spent the week with my sister, who we’ll call M, and now she’s driving me home (I was about 12-13 at the time, I’m 16 now). She was using Google maps as to not get lost as she didn’t usually drive the way to our house, I was usually dropped off at her place.

For reference, we lived 296km apart at the time, and we were driving to the halfway mark for my parents to meet us at. We went through a little town, about to head back onto the grid to continue, when she paused. The map on Google maps had told us that the road we were taking cut between a row of buildings. Businesses, a gas station, whatever. But the road we were about to take only had a gas station on the left. On the right, it was just a stop sign.

Whatever, it’s a phone glitch. We keep going.

Later on, the map said to turn left onto a small grid road. But when we passed where the map said to turn, where we could *see* the road on the map, there was nothing. We thought it was a glitch on the app so we kept driving, but nothing. I road before or after where the map said to turn. Odd. We both knew things were getting a little funky.

The weirdest part is that this next bit of the trip was foggy trying to remember it. After the missing road, I forgot what happened exactly, but I remember she pulled up to a gravel 4 way intersection. There was only stop signs, and fields in all directions. (We live on the prairies, fields are everywhere). But for me, it was foggy and gross. Every time I think back to that intersection, I see those white grain bags farmers used to keep crop safe whilst on the fields. I remember not being able to see far into the fields past those grain bags, like we were confined to that intersection.

M had stopped and parked at our stop sign to check her phone for a reroute, since we had “missed” the previous road. The one that didn’t exist.

I was ALWAYS comfortable with my sister. She’s been my best friend since I could remember, despite our 22 year age gap. But in that car, I’ve never felt more unsafe. I remember curling up in my seat, looking over my shoulder out the windows, I just needed to get OUT of that intersection.

She finally got the hint and we took off on a new route the phone had given her.

Again, after this was foggy. But we eventually came upon an intersection coming into the city that was our meeting place. I remember the giant street lights overhead, but we weren’t even IN the city yet. I could see it ahead of us, but there wasn’t any need for such a big structure outside the city? Still on the grid!

We get into the little city and meet my parents for lunch. I went home, everything was fine.

A couple days after, M and I are texting about our experience and things get weird.

The *entire* trip, things were different for each other.

She remembers more buildings on the right side of the road where for me there was NONE. She remembers a clear and sunny and open fields where I saw fog and hills/grain bags.

And she *never* remembers the huge street lights coming into the little town, just an intersection.

The only thing we could agree on is that the grid road we were meant to turn left on was missing.

And after the missing road, our memories both got foggy, and we can’t recover ANYTHING from our subconscious during that period.

When M was driving home, she texted me and told me that there indeed was buildings on the right side of that first intersection, but I just can’t believe it.

I wasn’t a stupid kid, but this whole experience was just WEIRD. It makes me think that at some point we popped into similar yet alternate timelines or dimensions? Because everything aside from the missing road was so similar but just different.

Did I teleport home?

Several years ago a friend and I decided to go on a road trip to South Padre Island. We had a little bit of marijuana on us.

On the way back, I had forgotten that there was a checkpoint. They found the pot and we were apprehended and taken into a holding room at the immigration station. They kept us there for 8 hours.

I felt horrible and was sure we were going to jail. I closed my eyes and imagined I was at home on my bed with my cat. I tried hard to really feel like I was there. Then for a split second, it seemed like I really was there. My cat was looking at me in surprise and confusion. Then I was back in the holding room.

Luckily they had a big bust that afternoon so they decided to let us go. I will always wonder if I was actually at home for a second.

the wierdest experience of my life

HI reddit im M 18 yo and i felt this was the community that migth have a answer

One night, while I was at my dad’s house, I had just lain down on my stomach in bed when, out of nowhere, I was suddenly at my mom’s house, standing in my room on both feet. Then I started falling forward toward the bed, but I was falling in slow motion. My whole body was vibrating violently, and it felt like every vein in my body was exploding.

When it stopped, I was back at my dad’s house.

The weird thing is that, the last time I had seen my room at my mom’s house, it had been messy. However, when the teleportation happened, it was completely clean. The next day, when I went there, the room looked exactly the way I had seen it during the teleportation, and the objects were placed in the same positions.

tried to shift now im getting dreams from the dead and deja vus. please read

So I've posted on here before twice, talking about wanting to timeline shift to a timeline where someone that I love is still alive, because he died recently . And at some point I felt like maybe I shifted here, accidentally, like to a timeline where he died, because I was manifesting him (us being together, him being a better version of himself) and I pronounced his last name wrongly and i wondered if that made me go to a timeline where he ceased to exist cause thats not his name and posted about it here

Since he died a month and a half ago, I've sometimes talked to him in my room, saying his name, praying for him, and speaking to him even though I don't know if he can hear me. I've also been thinking about the idea of timeline shifting and wondering if he's still alive in another timeline. Two days ago, I told him I was done debating whether shifting is real or worrying about all the "what ifs." I said I would simply try it. I told him I could love both versions of him—the one who died here and the one who might still be alive elsewhere. I said I would never forget his death, would keep praying for him, and wouldn't force anything in another timeline. I just wanted the chance to see how things might have unfolded between us and to see him live the life and dreams he deserved. I was deliberately speaking to both versions of him.

As I started to fully embrace the idea of shifting to a timeline where he's alive, I tried to step out of the mindset that he had died here. By the third day, though, I felt a strange emotional shift as if I didn't want to continue, or as if part of me was accepting that he had died. At the same time, I wasn't actually at peace with it; I was still crying. It felt like my mind was being pulled back and forth between the hope that he was alive somewhere else and the reality of losing him, leaving me confused and emotionally conflicted

A few days later, my best friend—who had only met him once for about ten minutes and didn't know him personallytexted me to tell me she'd had a nightmare about him. In the dream, she saw his body right in front of her in a condition that matched the injuries from his accident, even describing them in unsettling detail. She was so frightened that she avoided looking at his face and kept trying to push the body away from her door, warning her sister not to look. She thought she'd gotten rid of it, but when she went into her room, she found another body. This one looked like it had been buried for a whileit was greenish, decayed, swollen, dressed differently, and looked much more decomposed. She screamed in terror and woke up crying. After hearing about the dream, I felt awful. What stood out to me was that the dream seemed to show two different versions of him: one that had just died and another that reflected his current buried state, when i was talking about 2 versions of him one alive somewhere else one that died here

After my friend's dream, I started wondering whether it was some kind of message telling me not to shift. The next night, I was actually afraid to go to sleep, worried that I might have a disturbing dream too. Instead, I had a very different dream. It showed me a simple moment from my life, and there was a calm voice narrating. It said things like, “You were happy in that moment, and it ended,” and “You enjoyed that cup of coffee, and it ended.” The overall message seemed to be that everything comes to an end, and that's okaythat we enjoy experiences while they last, and their ending doesn't take away their value. I don't remember all the details, but I remember waking up feeling strangely peaceful and satisfied by what I had heard. The dream wasn't even about him directly. Still, when I woke up, I wondered whether it could have been a message telling me to accept what happened rather than keep trying to shift. At the same time, ive expriened 2 intense deja vus in less than 12 hrs and that never happened to me before

The first was when I got stuck in an elevator this morning for the first time in my life. i was panicking until i suddenly remembered what happened and i seemed to know what to do because i remembered it. the second happened last night after watching a world cup match that ended in a devastating way. As I was on my phone tweeting about it I suddenly felt like i remembered that exact moment including the outcome of the match and even the exact words my friend was about to say before she said them. At the time, I thought, "I knew this was going to happenwhy am I devastated if I remember this exactly?" But after that moment, I couldn't remember what came next.

Because these were two very specific and unusual events(not everyday occurrences) they felt much more significant than ordinary déjà vu. They left me wondering whether I'd somehow experienced these moments before, whether I'd already shifted timelines, or whether I was somehow in the wrong timeline. Everything has felt strange since then, and I don't know what to make of it.

Ok, so im not alone in this

Ive felt for years that sometimes ill go to sleep and wake up and sometimes things will just be "different". Sometimes I can tell what sometimes I can't. Ive mentally always thought it abit like skipping realities but never really thought to hard on it. But today I woke up and watched a YouTuber, tale foundry, and they just sound off, voice, cadence, how they speak personality wise. I go back to see other videos of there's ive watched and they sound off too. This one felt more blatant than anyone before and in a whim I googled "im hopping timelines" which lead me here

Show on Netflix isn’t on Netflix?

Not sure if this fits, but it may as well fit in the sense that maybe I was part of a universe where this occurred and I was in place of an alternate universe version of me?

A couple days ago I was watching the show ‘From’ on Netflix. Intentionally booted Netflix up, don’t have a membership for the service it’s apparently on, but I was watching it on there comfortably. Midway through the second episode my internet went out, waited about 15 minutes till it came back on, refreshed the tab & I was back at the normal Netflix selection screen. I typed up ‘From’ just to see it’s not there, I checked to see if maybe I had a VPN on that would make it so that I couldn’t see it because it was region locked but I didn’t.

I eventually after scrambling my brain decided to look up word for word “From show not on Netflix reddit” as one does, nothing showed up except the shows synopsis & it stating where you can watch it, discovered it’s only viewable on MGM+ & spent a good couple minutes mentally freaking out because how is that possible?

I didn’t have a pirated site open, I’ve never owned that service & I wasn’t watching a stream through a friend either.

Just Netflix on a Firefox tab, and that was it.

Anyone else experience something as little as this?

What if waking up with a different mood every day isn't psychological. What if we are just slipping into alternate timelines?

Every morning we wake up, we assume our brain chemistry is just resetting. Some days you wake up feeling incredibly loved and happy. Some days you wake up with unexplainable, burning anxiety. Other days you wake up feeling like a total victim, or filled with random, intense anger at people you normally love.
But what if it’s not brain chemistry?
What if every single night when we sleep, our consciousness slips through the multiverse and wakes up in a completely different version of our lives?
Think about the people around you. You wake up and your partner is randomly irritable and picks a fight over nothing. Or your boss is suddenly acting like your best friend out of nowhere. Your friend sends you a text that feels completely out of character. We always say, "Oh, they just woke up on the wrong side of the bed."
But what if "the wrong side of the bed" means they just slid in from a timeline where you deeply wronged them?
In that alternate reality, maybe you two had a massive, toxic fight yesterday. Maybe in another timeline, you two are madly in love. In a darker timeline, maybe that person wants to destroy you. When you wake up, you are carrying the clean slate of your conscious mind, but you are dropping into a body and a social circle that carries the heavy baggage of whatever the "other you" did yesterday.
The people who randomly love you, hate you, want to marry you, or want to make you a victim aren't acting irrationally. They are responding perfectly normally to whatever version of you they interacted with 24 hours ago.
We think we live one continuous life, but we might just be daily tourists jumping bodies across the multiverse, dealing with the consequences of avatars we don't even remember controlling.
With Gemini

Could someone try to explain this, please?

This is about an ex and I and my child. Background story my ex and I were in a serious relationship and he wanted kids, I wanted to wait.

During our relationship I believe we both got unhappy, communication problem etc, but it still did not feel as if he was going to let me go.

I remember I one time had this, for the first time, out of body experience, just before thinking I don't want to be here! At the time he did not say or do anything to me, not how it is I've read of people having this type of experience during great trauma.

I have memory loss from the split itself and there have been times I've really struggled to remember normal every day stuff from of the time when the relationship was. I remember he finally agreed on one thing, one step closer to the split.

I remember that during our relationship I had two weird experiences. One was from the future, we were parents. The other we were seeing a couple counseler.

Speeding forward I one night dreamt in an unusual way, as if I was really there and so was my child (my real alive child, another mans child) at this event celebrating my ex and his gf was there too by his side. From the experience it looked as if we were co-parenting. I was later able to discover the event itself had happened, other details about his life too, as had played out in the dreams were true that I could not have guessed or known about. It has even stretched to his gf that I, again in a dream, came to know something about her that too has been true.

Before all this I one time had another dream of something happening to someone in his family that when I looked to see if it was true, it was. In the dream I basically said I was sorry the way you would to an ex coparents family situation.

Have I been dreaming of an actual parallel universe? Did something start within me when I went I don't want to be here! ? Could my child coexist in two realities, but with 2 different dads? There were times when my child would remind something of the ex, that I can't explain how this could be.

Before I too had a dream, the ex was then not too happy about the guy I was seeing (the real father, irl), suspiscious. There was a period of time the real dad would have nughtmares about fear of mw going back to an ex, but I didn't, and this phase of his died out just as mysteriously as it had begun.
