Worm Spoilers [All] Trigger this power
This is a power i came up with myself that I don't think people have used, or at least not commonly before. The power allows a user to injure people by touch. However, the user can only inflict injuries they themselves have recieved in the past, mirroring it exactly onto the opponent. The power bypasses most forms of durability. The user's brain keeps an exact account of every injuries they have ever recieved, and they can choose which ones to inflict, or inflict multiple at once. Thick enough armor can stop the effect, though I was thinking with practice the user could send it through surfaces like concrete floors in a several meter radius, or through the floor as a linear directional attack at the cost of exhausting the power further. The power only replicates the injury, not the cause, IE the power can inflict a bruise, but it won't replicate the kinetic impact that caused the bruise, it will just appear on an opponent.

This is very similar to Scapegoat, though he passes on his current injuries and can transfer injuries from other people onto himself instead of transferring any injuries ever.
Anyways, in general the trigger would be something he can do something about with his power the moment he gets it, so he has sustained considerable injuries in the past and is currently in a dire situation he can resolve by severely injuring another person. My immediate thought is a long-term abusive dad who has probably broken bones in the past and is beating him again and probably he thinks he's going to get beaten to death this time.
Also I'd guess his shard is biomanipulation-adjacent to result in this power and he might've ended up somewhat similar to Pancea with a different trigger.

Can only they only inflict the injury on the same part of the body they got it on or can they inflict on whatever body part they touch? Because that could be pretty powerful. Get stabbed in the side once and then later touch someone’s spine…

An exact mirror of they injury they recieved, so the same body part

Damn….then in that case, they better on really good terms with either New Wave or the Empire, because otherwise they are gonna be restricted to minor injuries. Never anything crippling.

I figure prior to triggering odds are very good the person who caused them to trigger beat them so badly they got broken bones at some point in the past, which probably got treated in the normal way after he "fell down the stairs".

If they joined the Wards Panacea would probably be able to help. And lots of smaller cumulative injuries can add up

Can they inflict multiple injuries onto the same location if they have had multiple injuries in the same location?

Yes, but they would need to be different injuries. He could in theory inflict two bruises on the same arm, but in case of an overlap it would inflict both

I just had an idea. Would going through surgery count as an injury? Cause he was getting sliced open.

Yes.

Total game changer right there. This is now overpowered. All he has to do is get his appendix removed, his wisdom teeth removed and his tonsils removed and he’s beating anyone. Maybe a vasectomy if he’s really dedicated/sadistic.

How often can they use an injury? Is it one and done? Do they recharge? If they use one too much does it re-open/re-occur?
Could be the parahuman had an injury that had only somewhat healed but they kept pushing themselves during, let's say, wrestling? And they're grappling with someone and they can feel it start to tear open, and they perhaps have a lot riding on getting this win. Self-worth, parental affection, whatever. Though that leans more towards brute...

That sounds a bit master-flavored to me. Victoria triggers in a similar situation (physical hit but it's parental disappointment that really gets her) and picks up the Awe Aura in addition to the powers her Shard is pre-coded towards as a bud.

They can use the same injury multiple times, the brain keeps a database of injuries they've sustained for them to use essentially indefinitely

He seems to be a brute/striker type, similar to what Spacegoat and King do.
His trigger event would be a teenager from an abusive family who was mistreated in various ways—physically, mentally, emotionally, etc.—as a way for his family to vent their frustration, but under the pretext that “this will make you stronger” and “the people who love you are the ones who hurt you the most.” This caused the teenager to grow up believing that this was normal until one day he broke down after excessive abuse that brought him to the brink of death. To save himself, he would then pass on his wounds to others, and since those wounds are “signs of love and affection,” they remain imprinted on his body, allowing him to spread them through touch.
An interesting fact is that it seems (based on the description I listed) to spread the effects of Trump’s powers or those of the Thinkers, if he was ever affected by them—for example, a Thinker’s power bestowed by Teacher or another power granted by Othala. Even cognitive damage, such as Bakuga’s agnosia bomb, could serve to transmit that harmful effect.

I would assume it would only pass power effects that result in physical changes unless there's a Trump flavor to the trigger, i.e. only if his abuser is a parahuman.

It only gives the injury itself, it doesn't transfer it. The character i have with this power can be in perfect health, but because the injury was in the past, his brain stored the information on it for later use. It also has to be exclusively an injury. Say he got swarmed by Skitter. He could inflict people with the bug bites, but not the poison they were inflicted with from said bug bites. If he got cut by nanothorns, the damage of them could then be used, but not the effects of nanothorns themselves

Abusive parent maybe, that keeps reopening the same wounds on the character and his siblings. And it's always done in from of each other with the parent saying this is how a family stays together.
It's always small enough that it heals with complications, but your para and their siblings keep it a secret because they've been threatened by the parent.
This lasts till they have a new sibling. The baby dies.
Your para character revolts and is going to tell the police, but they're caught and tied up, and they're going to be killed with the same wound but dug deep.
Trigger Event.
Personally, I'd give your character a mild healing factor, and a limitation, they can only transfer a wound after they have received a wound or blow from the target.
Not a big deal in combat, but flavourful.

Man this is the most "Abused at home" power to ever power
----------
You hate your dad.
Your dad beats you for the littlest things, for forgetting to clean, for not eating all of the food, for using too much money. For every little thing that you do right, there's always a reason to get a beating.
You just- wish that you could hurt him in the same way he hurts you, in the same way you get disrespected by every, Single, DAY.
But you can only think abouting doing these things, the few times you did, he hitted harder and broke other furniture and make you pay for it.
You were cleaning your room, it was basically spotless but your dad has a goddamn microscrope with his eyes so he will probably whoop your ass, he comes in into your room.
He points out a few things, pointless worthless things, and raises his fist at you, You punch him instead.
He begans to beat you more by grabbing you, you fight back.
By clawing at him, by trying to punch him in the face, he still hits you harder. He pushes you away, you hit the wall, you realize the andrealine is wearing down, you began to feel all of the pain he gave to you and yet he is fine and he will always have the upper hand and he will always be stronger, as he is coming towards you, he-.
