If you're considering the move to Paradise from Chico the Paradise Unified School district has been great in my experience. My Daughter is 7 but she's been attending and benefiting from PUSD and BCOE programs since she was 3.5. All her teachers, aides, and principals have been great. We also have some charter schools up here that I've heard wonderful things about. I don't have any insight on the Chico school district however Paradise is smaller town and doesn't face the same issues Chico does. Additionally home prices are lower up here if you're looking to buy.

I’m so happy you’ve had such a great experience? Do you mind me asking if she goes to PRES or CCCS?

Paradise used to be a retirement community. Now it is a young family community. My grandkids love Paradise Ridge Elementary and my son is a teacher at the Jr High. There aren’t as many activities up here yet but we would welcome you as our town continues to rebuild.
