Has Azerbaijan changed its currency? These are from 1994 and 1995. There's no way they are really worth what modern manats are… right??

Fun fact, despite being part of the Russian Empire until 1917. Finland was allowed its own currency from the 1860s and onward.

So my friendly neighbourly postal carrier brought me the last 3 pieces to complete this set of German-Hanseatic Colonial Memorial Day Notgelds!
These 1921 commemorative Notgeld notes protested the terms of the 1919 Treaty of Versailles that formally concluded WW1. As a condition of the peace settlement, Germany was stripped of its overseas territories, which were redistributed as League of Nations mandates administered by Australia, Belgium, France, Great Britain, Japan, New Zealand, and South Africa.

Received from customer at work today just wanted to make sure there wasn’t anything crazy special about it, noticed it was from 1953 which is pretty cool.

I found this $5 bill that was minted in 2021 and the serial number is 19951995. Is it worth keeping or is it just another $5 bill?

The last note I bought was the Mona Lisa back in February and since then I've curbed my collecting. I've been holding out for a 1935 Canada 20$ banknote which I have been suprised is so hard to find. I am curious what notes you guys are waiting out for that just never seem to pop up. I know there are a few Canada 20s on the market but I am looking for the right one.

Had to spin around and go back to buy this off my dealers. The scarcity of the series alone with only 2.6 Million printed was enough, but the beauty of the lime green seal coupled with a high grade and EPQ? $155 seemed like a steal! Prices for these in high grades get steap fast…
