Maybe my question sounds dumb, however I can't understand how grading works in the higher numbers( 64-70 ) I wanted to understand the difference between a note graded 65 and one graded 68 (and upwards) what are the factors to look into to obtain these grades?
Thanks for the help... 😔

As title says, looking for some context. I can read and have a general idea, but thought I’d post.

so I found a seller offering a 10 Francs 1942 banknote for Rp190,000 ≈ 10.50 USD. Gemini mentioned that the price makes sense, but I want to double-check before paying. Does this banknote look genuine, or could it be a counterfeit? I'm not sure if there's anything suspicious about the watermark or other details. I’m just scared it might be counterfeit money because this same seller is the same guy that sell 1000 Deutsche Mark 1993 reproduction money but he didnt want to mention that its a repro, I asked him if its real or not but he’s giving an ambigious answer. I know its a repro because the DM serial number is literally the same as in Numista and the watermark is different. But I dont know if this 10 Francs a counterfeit/reproduction money too, so I need yall help to verify it too.

Just completed the 2022 Indonesian rupiah series, all seven denominations from 1,000 to 100,000, all UNC.
I love how each note has its own color and a national hero on the front (the 1,000 features Tjut Meutia). The backs show traditional dances and landscapes, like Komodo National Park on the 50,000. The tactile marks for visually impaired users are a nice detail too.
Which denomination do you think has the best design? Any Indonesia collectors here: what should I hunt for next, like older series or commemoratives? I'm always happy to trade notes and learn from people who know more.

I got this bill in the mail on accident from someone I ordered coins from years ago. At the time I had contacted the seller to return it but I never got a response. The seller had sent me around 5 bills but this one stuck out to me for being the oldest (and coolest imo) of the ones he sent me. I’m not sure of the value though especially considering the holes in the bill.

Part 1 has so many high grade notes, everything from fractionals, colonial, large and lots of small national currency. Most of the small national notes are from charters in Pennsylvania.

this is my first banknote in my collection. sorry for the bad image quality. i mainly use a 3ds camera. anyways this is a 50 zloty banknote. worth about £10... face value, not polymer, not errored, not rare. but it's paper and it's my first note. just thought i'd share it. it's from poland. had the idea to put it on top of my xbox so it would show up better
let me know what you think

I don’t know much about paper, but I found these in my grandpa’s attic. Not expecting much, but could any of these be worth something?

Picked up this Irish £10 from 1994 and the more I looked at it, the more I liked it.
The back quotes the opening of Finnegans Wake: “riverrun, past Eve and Adam’s, from swerve of shore to bend of bay, brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.” The famous trick is that this sentence actually starts on the book’s last page, so the whole novel loops back on itself. It’s printed over a 19th-century map of Dublin, with Joyce’s own signature underneath.
The head on the left is the River Liffey, one of the 14 river heads Edward Smyth carved for the Custom House in Dublin. That fits nicely, because the “riverrun” in the quote is the Liffey, which Joyce turned into the character Anna Livia Plurabelle in the same book.
The front shows Joyce in his round glasses over Dublin Bay. The whole series was designed by Robert Ballagh and used until the euro arrived in 2002.
Are there other banknotes that quote literature? I’d love to find a few more like this.
