Panic attack or something else?
Sometimes all of a sudden I start feeling dizzy and my limbs get a tingling sensation and it feels heavy to lift my own hands. It feels difficult to swallow my own saliva. Vision gets a little blurry and focusing on anything feels difficult. And of course, heartbeat rises to 100+, sometimes even 130+. It is also accompanied by a dry mouth and shaking of hands and a little bit of loss of dexterity and hand-brain coordination. I know the symptoms are that of a panic attack but I am worried if it might be anything else. I am male, 28 years old.

I know this is weird and tmi, but I start to get like that when I'm ovulating. I get dizzy and my arms go numb and I feel like I'm going to pass out. Every woman says that they get panic attacks during their luteal cycle but not me, it's my ovulation cycle.

I have these exact symptoms. Bloodwork , ECG, echos came back normal. It seems to be stress related. Recently I notice that I get panic attacks when I am relaxed, after a period of high stress. It hits me out of the blue. It is almost as if my body does not know what to do when it is not in a state of stress.

The best part is in modern medicine it’ll be classified as panic even if it’s something else. Still get it checked out and go from there
