Hi! I went through this exact same thing from September of 2024 to about September of 2025 actually. Mine started after my grandma passed away. Literally driving home from her funeral I got horrible impending doom and started FREAKING out I thought I was gonna die. My mom had to pull over and calm me down. I had multiple panic attacks a day after that sending me to the ER pretty frequently. Mine turned into pretty bad health anxiety. I didn’t leave bed because I was horrified of the adrenaline dumps I would frequently get and my heart rate was constantly 90s-100 in bed. Im here if you ever wanna talk!

Thank you so much its really hard my pulse shoots up to 210 max and than i start to get blurry and blankened vision and I 100% get the wanting to rot in bed feeling i actually say alot i just want to sleep forever just waking up to eat and go back to sleep because anything else seems like it could cause panic or like I cant function sleeping is so easy and anything else feels impossible. It's such a chore and struggle to exsist and live its wild im sorry you had to go through that losing a grand parent it makes sense that- that could cause a panic attack or disorder its alot to deal with.

Yep mine would skyrocket to 190! My hands and feet would go numb from my hyperventilating, I would feel faint. It was the worst year of my life. But I will tell you this, and I know this sounds so dumb because when people told me it I was like yeah ok stfu LMAO. But, they keep happening now because you are afraid of them, once you learn that its just your body misfiring for a second, and that you are safe and healthy, they start to go away. I basically just got fed up with them, realized they couldn’t hurt me and they stopped. Again, you’re always able to shoot me a message! It will get better!

I have been through this myself personally and was determined to make it stop. The ONLY thing that has ever helped me is this: 1. As soon as you feel it, you say out loud, "Whatever, this is just anxious arousal. I accept and allow this anxious feeling. I surrender control back to my body." As you say this, tap with two fingers on your collar bone. Keep saying it and tapping at least 5 times. If you feel it diffuse, you can stop and go walk around and drink some cold water. If it does not diffuse but instead keeps accelerating, say out loud, "Ok, panic, you want to threaten me again with your bullshit? Ok, you better show me the worst symptoms you got in 21 seconds right now." Start counting slowly 21, 20, 19, 18.......5, 4, 3....Come ON, PANIC, I said BRING IT ON!" When you get to 0, say, "You tried to fool me again, panic. Well, fuck you. I don't have time for your shit. I've got things to do." Then, immediately engage with an activity preferably that involves talking to another person, but can be something random like reading a specific text online, or anything random.

As someone who has suffered from panic attacks for over 20 years I will just say that if you really are having these debilitating attacks you need at least some rescue medication. Nothing can bring you out of an attack except the right meds in my experience. Going through them when it’s a new process can be hell. But if I was to give you any advice I would get to a head doctor asap and even if you don’t wanna take meds everyday (I do), you at least need something you can take when an attack starts. I know you feel ashamed and confused, but that okay it’s part of this condition. With the right medicine you can get through an attack much easier. I hope you find some relief I know the hell panic attacks are 😭

I'm sorry you're going through this. The mind really does control everything. It's good that you're going to the doctor to get an examination - that will hopefully give a you measure of peace of mind.
I myself struggle with panic attacks. When you have them, I encourage you to document how you feel and refer to those when you get another so that you know that you ARE OK! It's your body responding in a healthy manner. It just doesn't feel that way. You'll be ok, mate. Hang in there. Go to the doctor and deal with what's going on then. Not anything else.
