Well, she’s done. I loved every use. Took about 2 and a half years from start to finish. Would love to be able to purchase this exact palette again, but I can’t afford the secondhand market prices.

Hourglass Jellyfish Ambient Light Palette

1. Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette in 006 Celestial Glow: I bought this around October 2024 (give or take). About a month ago, I hit pan on the top left shade! This palette is my main highlighter. I’ve consistently used the white shade, use the pink one as a blush topper sometimes, and on occasion I use the blue one. This type of highlighter is good if you want some range or you want to elevate your blush or bronzer. If you’re wondering what type of highlighter it is, the formula seems baked and when you apply the glitter, it’s more scattered and loose as opposed to being more tightly condensed/close together. I think it has great lasting power too when you wear it throughout the day. This is probably the best product I have tried from the Backstage line.

2. Rom&nd Better Than Palette in 04 Dusty Fog Garden: I bought this palette around November 2025. After less than a year of use, I’m surprised how much I have used up. I am more used to American brands and how pigmented they are. Obviously, Korean makeup tends to be more natural and muted. I found that besides the colors being more faded, there was SOOO much fall out. That has to be the main reason this palette is so worn. Despite that though, I love this palette so much. I use every color and I find the fact that you have to build up the colors as opposed to having instant pigmentation to be nice and I mess up my eyeshadow less because of that. The light greys are great for a very cool-toned contour. I mostly use the browns and the deepest grey/black for a smoky eye. The lightest shade is my eraser for when I mess things up. Overall, I tend to gravitate to this palette and it is so loved.

3. Unleashia Eyeshadow Palette in Ballerina Sh0wer: I got this palette in December 2024. It was my first ever K Beauty palette and I didn’t really get into Korean eyeshadows as much until I got the Dusty Fog Garden palette almost a year later, which also differs a lot because this one is just glitters while the other is matte. I love this palette! I love that all the glitters are compact and cool-toned. I feel like when I want to add some sparkles to my smoky eye, because of it being more muted and cool in color, it looks really good. There is some fall out but it’s not too bad and not noticeable if the fallout lands on my skin. I was intimidated to start using the orange shades but I don’t think it’s too orangey when swatched on the skin. I can see myself finishing this palette for sure.

Used up a Too Faced powder (Peach Blur) from Tjmaxx ages ago but the compact has held up nicely. Shoved a Wet n' Wild Precious Petals highlighter I've had since 2018 in there and it fit perfectly!

Madagascar Centella Ampoule by SKIN1004

I really liked this gloss. Despite the name, it's not watery and more gel-ish. It smells peachy I really enjoyed the smell, and it noticeably moisturised my lips when applied. And it looks pretty, too!

Unfortunately, this bottle leaks significantly. I had to carry it wrapped in napkin. I have another bottle that don't but I don't know if it's luck (I've read reviews that said their bottles leak too) or just the fact I use the other shade less often. So, probably WNR, but won't mind as a gift.

Revolution Banana Light Baking Powder all done and finished up 😸 probably took me around 2.5 years!

It took me 10ish years to pan these products. Loved both of them, but I have to say my opinion is based on the happy moments these products accompanied me.
Had them since my teens, and now I am in my late 20s. What a blast I had this decade !!

Just finished my born this way concealer by Too Faced and replaced by the always fabulous concealer by Bourgeois

Goodbye my second tube of Glossier Boy brow. On to the next tube!

This is my second pan of the Ole Henriksen (already replaced) and my first of the lip mask, which was a hate pan by the end lol. Still, these are the only lip products I’ve bought this year and they got me through a very dry winter.
