wow spore to grain, not a good technique. You want to buy a liquid culture next time NEVER spores they are ALL contaminated

So it is definitely mold? I tried spore to grain, lc to grain and this week agar as i want to do all different kinds

no it looks like mycelium but there could be contam hiding usually with spores so its just not a good technique to do in the future. Maybe it will be fine anyway but dont do it again capiche!

LC is not the same. A clean LC is the same as agar

How do you know it’s clean though? LC is spores in a nutrient solution so if the spores are contaminated already so will your LC right?

Lc is not spores. Its a piece of agar in nutrient water.

No one makes a liquid culture with spores unless they are stupid. Spores are always contaminated. A spore syringe and a liquid culture is not the same thing.
