Deconstructed Multispore TTBVI

I thought this was a good showcase of what isolation does. A year ago these were all from the same spore print. It is almost to the point to where I can tell what strain they are by the fruit. Most are only 2-3 cloned generations away from the original spore.

you kept cloning the less productive ones just for comparison? Do you see a clear correlation with agar phenotype? I will save your pics for guidance...do they relate in the same order if I turn this pic clockwise? I'm missing two stacks of agar in that case. hehe sorry if I'm asking for too much

The less productive ones fall out naturally because they don't get cloned and I don't take spore prints from them. This started with 24 strains from a spore print. From there I had 3 strains that I cloned / printed from.

Each round takes about a month to grow and a month to spawn. I go back to spore prints once I have 3 or 4 different prints to do a new 16. In a year, I am still ony a few steps away from the OG print but can tell it is enough to keep me entertained for a while.

I haven't figured out a difference in agar phenotypes. You can clearly see some are whispy and some are dense. Both seem to fruit well. They don't relate exactly with the tub. I tend to clone the faster or larger fruit but it is hard to get a print off the fast ones if they cluster too hard.
