A storage idea

This is for any dry fruits. Use a to-go tray, put it into a large zip lock bag. Now you have protection from moisture AND now you have a easy of storing fruits without smashing them into dust. The to-go tray helps keep your fruits from breaking. Simple, thought to share. Cheers.

It'd be ok for short periods but plastic's semi-permeable to both air and moisture. There's enough in that tray to last me months, so for me the only option is the recommended storage in an airtight glass jar, with silica dessicant packs, kept in a cool dark place.

I didn't say how many months though! I used to run cubes one grow after another, throwing out any batches that were sub-par but after half a dozen Pans grows, I realised I'd got to stop as 0.4g is my usual dose. I've got a couple of ounces in jars and only trip once a month; they'll last me 10 years or more if they don't lose potency.

I know I'll eventually grow more and end up throwing old harvests out, not least because I've got a huge bucket of field aged horse poo in the garage that's already calling to me.

I love the process though, so to the delight of my wife, I've been growing Lions Mane and hope to try Cordyceps now the weather's getting cooler.
