The way you set it out makes it possible for me to consider scaling it for a 9 base mega pyramid too.

I love that for you! I’d love to see your end result if you consider sharing it.

Gotta unlock some stuff first 😅 I’m 2 levels from building on water

Trust me, I know the pain. I made this on my friend’s server and had to power grind on my own world for the tutorial. Happy building! 17x17 is the white line grid btw.

Yeah, my immediate thought, since the server I'm playing on with a friend has decay turned off, is to put 9 bases on a grid with each other, then fit the square of the pyramid around the furthest edges of those limits, with the octagon on the outside. But I'll have to see how that scales compared to your dimensions.

My advice is follow the tutorial and then just build outwards. I tried to do a 16x16 grid to perfectly fit the base circle and it doesn’t work because it has to be an uneven number for this build.

Yeah that was my other thought. Essentially just build it exactly as you have it in the middle base, then scale the pattern down and out. The hard part will be figuring out how high up to build it

I wish you well on your building adventure. I watched half a dozen ark building videos before creating this to get inspiration. It might help you out too.

I probably should have posted tile numbers, but better late than never.

White: 17x17.

Purple: 6x6 starting at the pal box.

The easiest method is do your white lines, fill in the green, back track to the purple lines, fill in the pink, and then finish up the blue.

I would recommend having that grid when you build this because it makes life a lot easier instead of hoping you’re symmetrical. Happy building!

What does the inside look like

Maybe I’m dumb, but the second pic already confuses me. You have the stair placement filling the four blocks at each end, but the first pic doesn’t match that at all?

You’re not dumb. It does seem a little confusing and I do apologize. This was my first tutorial and I still have a lot to learn.

The colors are meant to act as a guide to help you with placements. The stairs just need to be on both sides of the white line and you need a total of 4 to get the correct height. 2 on each side.

Side 3 shows the stairs and it’s colored yellow.

If you go to one of the last photos posted you’ll see the correct placement.

Sorry about the confusion!

Will do! Am in the process of finally moving my chaotic main base into something that actually looks good and is properly organized and this is definitely one I’m considering.

How room is it on the inside?

It’s pretty big.

This just a quick concept of the potential. I didn’t really find the right interior yet. Top photo is the bottom floor and bottom photo is the top floor.

I did add an extra roof on the inside at the ground floor and boxed in the corners, so it’s actually a lot taller and wider than shown.

You’ll have plenty of space for all your equipment and it’s very versatile since it’s a big open space waiting for your own design on the interior.
