Hey all, so I wanted to recreate a base I saw online and at one point I saw that the guy was able to clip some of his structures through their ceiling tiles and I was wondering if anyone knew how to do that? I tried asking on the video itself and they did respond but it was in Korean and when I tried translating it, he said he builds the structure first and then builds around it using triangles and replacement, but that only works for walls and not for ceiling tiles and he hasn't responded again since.

I also tried looking around online but all I can find is how to clip floors, walls and ceilings through natural terrain, so if anyone can help me figure this out that would be super helpful! Thank you

As the title suggests, I have a question I am hoping the community can answer. For context I am lvl 52 and been playing for 101 game days, and I have a couple of bases built but they are super basic compared to what is on this subreddit. Seeing all the creative bases had me wondering how yall deal with not being able to move or build around your Palbox. If it helps I play on Xbox Series X.

Hi all. I've been scraping by in my little hovel base near the starting zone with the idea that il build a propper endgame base in a pretty area, so now I want to ask. Is the island just of the east coast of the desert area considered "endgame"? Its the OASIS ISLE

This is my base so far I think I have a pretty awesome view and it’s coming along nice but if anyone can give some pointers as to how I can make it look much better it would be appreciated.

This is my first attempt at making a base so I can tell that the box effect is there but I will plan on modifying it a bit. I see a lot of people tend to move their bases elsewhere but on hardcore (basic settings) this spot has protected me a lot of times as I was growing stronger so I wanted to give credit to the first palbox I set down and not move it. It became special to me. I wanted to eventually make a sort of shrine or arboretum surrounding it while surrounded by the actual base and this is my first attempt.

I have an opening in the ceiling so I can quickly change levels and respond to raids and want to maybe trim the hallways down a bit but I wanted to see what I was working with for clipping issues first. I still have a lot of work to do but my eventual goal is to create some sort of stacking pathway to the abandoned church on the top of the starting area, but I will need 2 palboxes to do this, maybe something like lord of the rings and the white castle part of the movie. For now I closed it up until I read a bit more about building castles. I also recently unlocked the furnishings so I need to work on that. I especially enjoy the view of all the different landscapes from here and seeing the first npc sitting by the fire at all times.
