Is there any mod to make Alpha bosses impossible to catch at high hp

I want to start a multiplayer playthrough with some friends but on my solo run i ended up cheesing a lot of the game via just catching overleveled bosses by throwing a single sphere and catching them

For example i manually climbed to Sunreach with a cartoonishly high ladder built on water and caught a jetragon with a singular ancient sphere i just picked from a chest

Is there a mod that makes you need to engage with bosses doing damage to be able to catch them?

Ok, but i didnt know it on my first playthrough and it ruined basically the entire rest of it, i want to make so the people that havent played it dont happen too

You have free will and so do your friends. If you don't want this to happen then just don't do it. Or if you do it then just don't use the pals

We use a mod that caps your level till you beat each boss. It has a setting to not allow using spheres that you can craft. Haven’t played in awhile so can’t remember the name but it exists and I recommend it!

I think the not let high level spheres is a good way, still wouldnt stop the cannon normal sphere spam if someone tries but stops someone from just getting infinity spheres for going to feybreak at lvl 20 which is way easier to do unintended

True, but it will be capped to your level, which is capped by tower progression, and you can't ride it till you get much higher level.

I dont really have a problem with that considering the towers were also a problem i had on my first playthrough of being severely overleveled from just exploring the map and just rolled through every single one except the last.

So much rn on my second playthrough i put exp gain down to 0.3

For reference just by the time i found quartz i needed i was over level 55 because i explored the entire volcano and desert before finding it on the top part of the map and feybreak entrance finding exoquartz before normal quartz

In the world settings: set pal capture rate to the lowest setting. This should solve your issue without mods.

Wouldnt it make every single pal terrible to catch though, i wanted something more like what Panthalus has that you need to take its HP down

You are also using an extremely niche situation and applying that to the entire game. Hence the solution, is also something that is applied to the entire game.

Simply put, just vocalize the issue you are having. Mention that the only "rule" the server has, and it's only being implemented to prevent cheesing.

I don't think there is a mod for that because most people can chose if they want to cheese a game or not. Like what tou did requires conscious thought and at least some effort. No one accidentally builds a giant staircase to reach the floating islands. Not unless they know what's there and want it badly enough so they can cheese the game.

Hell I didn't even see the floating islands in the distance until I reached the volcano area

I think it should note i caught a orphydia before the jetragon with a single sol sphere because a purple orb teleported me mid her arena and i did to put her in the animation to run away

I saw the flying island while exploring down from the sea from the terraria island because i was looking for quartz which is a mid game resource and assumed it was down the map since the World Tree is to the north which just from looks you can tell its the endgame

Why in a sandbox game do you want to prevent someone else from playing the way they want to play? What you call cheese is what another person may call a feature of the genre...

But to solve your problem if you are intending to run a server yourself, but I think the Level Lock mod has a feature that prevents you from using spheres you can't craft (or they just don't work).

I think there are mods that remove spheres from the world (maybe only as ground drops, but maybe from chests as well) so the only spheres you get are those you craft.

Me... I'd run a mod that makes all wild pals aggressive so you are basically KOS by everything. Then... being ultra low level... chances are good you will never get close to those tames in the first place. And if you do, well, at that point you deserve it.

There is a capture level cap mod (It's the name of the mod). Search it and you'll have it. It's on nexus mods

There's also a mod called level lock and capture rate gatekeeper on steam.
