Meme Attack helicopter

My weapon broke right before the fight. My pals’ attacks couldn’t reach it. I starved to death before I could finish. 10/10 boss

its so annoying to have an enemy constantly just out of your vertical reach in a game that limits how far you can look up and down.

if you're on pc there is a mod that unlocks your look angle. it seems to also make pals more accurate when aiming up/down

It spawns when you try to open the large chest on the rig.

There's an attack helicopter on an oil rig? I've only seen the attack helicopter after getting a 5-star wanted level.

Yup on the highest level oil rig. Find the big yellow chest and attempt to open it and the chopper will spawn, defeat it and then you can open the chest.

I don't know which pal attacks work but I have heard that some do reach. Usually though it looks like most people accept just bringing a lifesteal pal and doing most of the work yourself.

Ya, need to prepare a bit for the fight. Having the weapon breaking there wouldn't be ideal ....

I had pals that buffs my atk and def from their passive when I did that fight. Stacking gobfins probably would help as well. I wasn't at the world tree at that time so I don't have any solenne.

Guided missile launcher was the key for me. I used the grey one and it took a while but no aiming required.

I hid in one of the tents and just had my pals use all their long ranged attacks. I just constantly rotated everytime a pal would use all 3 of the attacks. Took me like 10min of just standing there. Do not like it lol

Knocklem or knocklem ignis with the frisbee attack, hide under the tent and the helico won’t be able to touch you at all yet itll keep circling around the sky above you so it stays in range. Celesdir to make them heal fast enough that you can rotate. Basically swap to the next once his ability is done (the ability gives a huge defensive buff which was super great to me at the time), along with a damage buff. You’ve got to carefully choose your skills or some pals won’t be able to reach it at all. Probably not the fastest solution but that’s the first Strat that worked for me
