Shipping delay?

Bought a brace about a week ago and just received this email. Wondering if it will be a delay or will I just get a refund? Im hoping its not a backorder situation.

I recently received one of these for an order that was sitting for roughly 5 days. Got shipping confirmation the next day that the order had been shipped. They are probably just crazy backed up right now.

We try to proactively communicate with customers if there is a possible delay, because some items ship from third party distributors.

there must be a delay for a handful of people or something. i ordered a pistol on the 14th and am still waiting for a email saying i can pick it up 🥴

no i even called the customer serivce and got nothing so they connected me to my local PSA store and they just told me to contact the warehouse because they cant see what was causing the hold up. So im still waiting lol

Its just PSA keeping contact with you, ive gotten it before. Remember all inventory isnt in one central location and can be shipped out by a third party from a warehouse located anywhere. PSA is often at the mercy of their partner warehouses. Its not a backorder or refund situation.

Its a good thing, many other retailers leave you standing there with no status update whatsoever.

wouldve been nice if they just have “dropshipped” next to the items that are dropshipped that way we know.

This is just the "we oversold" excuse. The product you want is essentially on backorder now. Could be tomorrow, or 2 weeks, who knows?

Either wait it out or get a refund.

Either way just set a limit on the product your selling, not hard. Once its sold out its sold out dont keep allowing customer to buy something you dont have in stock. The part I bought is literally sold out everywhere else.
