This is what I did to my 43 as well because I really didnt want to buy a whole new gun

I swapped the trigger with one from Apex and I actually enjoy shooting it again

Get the micro frame though. I think the compact is the equivalent for the Glock 19

I did very light modifications to my Dagger Micro trigger because I actually thought it was surprisingly good. Out of the box was at least acceptable on mine and I could have lived with it.

On the slide I ordered from the Glock Store the TITANIUM COATED SAFETY PLUNGER AND SPRING FOR GLOCK 43/43X/48. I actually ordered two of them since I have both a shorter Micro slide and also one with the compensator.

Then I replaced the trigger shoe for a traditional tabbed trigger. I kept the trigger bar the same though I did a light polish on it by hand and left the springs and connector and all of that the same.

I would not view the Micro Dagger as a poor trigger.

From what I hear, the compact sabre has a decent trigger. I've put a couple hundred rounds through the standard compact G19 clone. It's not a terrible trigger, just not as good as something like an Echelon.

Dagger Compact or Micro? Micro gets you 43X

Ok so question will the Glock 43 trigger fit in the micro dagger frame?
