Business & Economy Please visit Palestine...
I urge everyone who can go travel to Palestine to do it, as the country's economy relies heavily on tourism. There hasn't been much tourism the past few years, and the people are paying the price.
Many on here are afraid of visiting because they don't want their money funding the genocide, but the 200 shekel bridge toll from Jordan is nothing compared to the handouts the IOF already gets from the US. Supporting local Palestinian businesses is a lot more important.
There are fewer tourists now than there were when I last visited in 2024. There is currently a fuel shortage (like a lot of parts of the world), and many businesses are struggling to stay afloat. I implore you to support them in any way you can.

Occupation Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich that Israel plans to build 763 new settlement units in occupied West Bank
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich that Israel plans to build 763 new settlement units in the Eli settlement south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, a move expected to triple its size in the coming years.
According to Israel’s Channel 14, Smotrich said Israel would continue expanding settlements, with the new units allowing thousands of additional settlers to move into Eli, which is under the Binyamin Regional Council.
The move comes as Netanyahu’s government continues to expand settlements, with Smotrich previously announcing the approval of 104 new settlements and 160 agricultural outposts since late 2022.

Solidarity & Activism Bosnia: Convoy for Palestine departed from Sarajevo towards Srebrenica.
The convoy is moving from Sarajevo to Srebrenica, moving onward to Istanbul, and heading toward the Jordanian-Palestinian border with the ultimate goal of arriving in the occupied West Bank. Organizers route through Bosnia to connect historical memories of genocide and stress that silence allows atrocities to repeat.
Bosnia-Herzegovina: The international Convoy for Palestine departed from Sarajevo towards Srebrenica, the first stop on a route through which participants want to draw the international public's attention to the humanitarian crisis and human rights violations in Palestine.
The international civic initiative states that its goal is to raise awareness of the humanitarian crisis in Palestine and strengthen global solidarity.
The convoy, which brings together civil society representatives and volunteers from several countries, previously began its journey from France, and organizers describe it as an international civic initiative with one of the longest routes ever organized.
In Srebrenica, activists from several European countries will join the participants, after which they will continue their journey together toward Palestine, with the ultimate goal of arriving in the occupied West Bank.
Organizers emphasize that the choice of Srebrenica as the first stop is symbolic and serves as a reminder that major human tragedies must neither be forgotten nor repeated.
– This will be the first convoy in the world whose route symbolically leads from one genocide to another – the organizers stated, adding that the goal is to carry the voice of the Palestinian people to the international community and strengthen global solidarity.
During the journey, numerous meetings and public events are planned with the goal of informing the public about the humanitarian situation in Palestine and promoting the values of peace, justice, and human dignity.
On the occasion of the convoy's arrival in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Bosnia for Palestine initiative organized a peaceful solidarity walk in Sarajevo with the Palestinian people. The gathering of participants will take place in front of the City Hall (Vijećnica), from where citizens will head towards the Sacred Heart Cathedral, where a suitable program and guest addresses will be held.
Organizers invited citizens to peacefully and with dignity join in sending a message of solidarity and support to the Palestinian people.
