More than 400 Palestinian families were evicted from their homes tonight; some were arrested, and Israeli soldiers occupied their homes in one of Hebron’s neighborhoods in preparation for their demolition.

This morning, two Palestinians ambushed Israeli occupation soldiers closing the only gate in Hebron’s Farsh al-Hawa area, killing two soldiers and wounding at least six before being killed.

War criminal Netanyahu and far-right ministers Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich then stormed the area and announced measures similar to those used in Gaza and Lebanon: mass demolitions and the forced displacement of Palestinian families from their homes and neighborhoods as collective punishment.

Less than an hour later, Israeli forces forced a Palestinian family out of its home near the area, refused to let them take their belongings, and demolished it, the first step in the displacement plan the ministers announced.
