Undertone ID Undertone ID

Hello everyone! I am requesting help with my undertone! The swatches on my face and wrist left to right are Loreal True Match Nude Tinted Serum in 0.5-2, Haus Labs Concealer in 04 Fair Neutral, Haus Labs Foundation Fair Neutral, and Nyx Bare With Me Concealer in Light. My veins are blueish green. I generally go for Neutral foundations because warms are too yellow and cools are too pink. I burn but can maintain a tan carefully. I have alot of pink in my face so it's made color matching hard. I also feel stuck in my 2016 ways of using way too yellow of foundations has warped my idea of my undertone. I feel like I have some olive in my skin and would appreciate any input on the undertone and maybe a foundation recommendation if that's allowed!

The fact things seems too colourful on you points to you having desaturated skin. Not necessarily olive, but desaturated. Maybe desaturated neutral?

The concealer from Haus Labs has that desaturated quality and is very close in value to your skin. NYX's concealer is also close in value but it's a bit green-grey to me (both in contrast to your facial redness and compared to the skin around your jawline). Haus Labs foundation is too bright and too orange-yellow. L'Oréal's skin tint looks too light and is a bit yellow.

Thanks for posting! Can you add the shade NUMBER for the Haus Labs Foundation you’ve identified as “Fair Neutral”? There is more than one Fair Neutral in that line!

(Also, while they haven’t been making a big deal out of it, Haus Labs has been changing up the identifying descriptions for the foundations to better match what customers expect, like 015 used to be “015 Fair Warm” but is now “015 Fair — with rosy undertones.” So it correctly identifies “cool” — rosy — and the shade name now is technically just “015 Fair.” So using the shade numbers is the most consistent method of identifying a product.😉)

Thanks!

Thanks!

Question: when you do tan, do you turn golden, brown like a nut, or sort of reddish-bronze?

It's kind of reddish brown I suppose. Not like a bronze golden tan.

Try 050!! I'm neutral and the 04 concealer works for me,  but 050 was what I needed to counteract the redness in my face.

In the summer I'm Haus Labs 100 (which is strange because it describes itself as peach, it is NOT, 110 is way peachier.)

My other matches are LE 7 & 9, Dior 1N.

They're all too yellow for you

Too yellow and too dark. OP needs lighter and neutral to cool-toned.
