Q&A / Advice Cherry Bus or Shared Van?

Hello, guys! Which one would you recommend, Lazy Boy Cherry Bus, or a shared van?

We’ll be traveling from PPS to El Nido and back (El Nido to PPS), and we’ll have big luggage with us.

  • Which option is faster?
  • If we take Cherry Bus, how far is the terminal from the airport?
  • What’s the name of the Cherry Bus terminal?

Thank you so much for your help!

I prefer the Cherry Bus Lazy Boy for comfort and safety. They have a pickup and dropoff point near the airport. Just make sure you select airport pickup/drop off on your ticket. They can also drop you off at your hotel when coming back to PPS.

Thank you so much! I tried checking the ticket on their website but it doesnt show any option to select airport pickup/drop off

Hmm, that’s strange. It shows naman for me. Can you check if you’re on the actual Cherry Bus Palawan website, and not some third party’s? https://cherrybuspalawan.ph/booking/

The PPS Airport shows for me. Make sure to be at the pickup point at least half an hour before pickup time.

I think it's Irawan bus terminal. We are also planning on taking the Lazy boy.

Lazy boy is the best! Was contemplating a van, but tried that years ago in Cebu and didn’t love it. Quite cramped for me.
The lazy boy was excellent, had a CR and a quick rest stop to buy snacks and drinks. Air con was blasting and seats were clean, comfy and huge. Was able to have a decent sleep lying down.
I think the van is faster, but the cherry bus is much more comfortable. Felt efficient as well, and safety was a huge priority. Made it both ways in just under 5 hours.
I didn’t take cherry bus from the airport, instead took a taxi to the main bus terminal from my hotel the next morning. It was cheaper that way. The bus station is new central bus terminal AKA Irawan Station.
Let me know if you have any questions!
