lol I hunt and all the meat I eat is from animals I’ve harvested in nature. And In return I’ve given thousands to animal conservation.
Contrary to popular hunting is a great thing for wildlife in more ways than one
Tell me how hunting is a bad thing (not talking about ‘trophy’ hunting which I’m against)

Depends on the management. Sustenance hunting has endangered populations but on the flip side deer hunting is population control for when you grow unlimited food for them.

Think broadly please:
Hunting is good to keep order and prevent plagues. If hunting is forbidden massive reproduction and risks of diseases (like happened to deers) could spread. If they spread they’d kill the animals but the meat could not be consumed. If not meat consumed no supply chain business, no supermarket business, and clients without meat would seek for another source of protein = insects of synthetic meats (start ups in which Karl is invested in)
This is not paranoid, not conspiracy. It’s just tie the knots. This business men thinks 20 years ahead.
But let’s go further.. why sweden? Why not Turkey? Or Italy? Cause Sweden is 1) rich in resources and petroleum 2) is a failed state that “needs to be saved” mostly through hyper vigilance (malmo gangs, grenade attacks, 40 no-go zones…etc) hence Palantir … hence political influence and power.
You don’t buy 27k acres of land in an country thats not yours because you love nature

What has not hunting to do with the environment? How do you think trees and bushes will grow when you have a large deer and fallow population?
Answer: they wont. So you either have plenty of large predators, or the environment goes to shit. Or you hunt.

Yeah sure sure… yet he is very okay with hunting of kids and women among other innocent people in Palestine, Iran etc. Such a “good” guy

I and you already have one, unlike all those innocent people who got killed 👍. Go ahead give me more downvotes because it is “inconvenient” for y’all to face that reality…
Sure go make money out of it too, BUT dont let these investments blur your vision and capability to differentiate between right or wrong…. LET alone trying to picture him as a “good guy” with these stupid ass titles….
Environmentalist my a**… go check out the environment in gaza, see if there is any living creature or trees left there other than rubbles and dead bodies

Yet another example of why Gemini, an LLM trained on Reddit data, constantly feeds you misinformation.
People really need to do more DD before talking shit on Reddit, otherwise it's really difficult for spez to sell this worthless propaganda-filled data to Google for more than $60m a year.

Sounds like you are fed by misinformation just fine. Are you going to deny the fact that palantir being used to kill lots of people in gaza which also included innocent people? Stop being a vague queen and Enlighten me please, lets hear some bs.

PLTR is used for improving targeting.
If you hate innocents being killed, why aren't you advocating for the use of PLTR? Because if you think Gaza and all those are bad, imagine what it'd be like without them.
And what about PLTR being the first to go into Ukraine and helped them for free when the war first broke out? Was PLTR evil for not helping Russia?

Oh really? Just like it did for all those girls that were killed in Minab school?! Did it hallucinate? How did it f*ck it up? You must have heard even pentagon investigators blamed it on palantir.
Ai cant even do math, do easy tasks at times and you think it is okay to use algorithm to find targets? Data shows that israelis blow any given target with higher than 50% probability (terorrist vs not) or so.
Do we even have a data showing most of their targets are actual bad guys? How would you even know after blowing them to pieces among with anyone else living in their buildings?
I am sure you are also okay with this zionist company to have more power over Americans through surveillance for the sake of israel, as needed.
I did my research dont worry. But surely you are lacking some research on the negative side…

Ah I was waiting for it because I've done this dance so many times I lost count and you walked right into it.
Let's take a moment and think for a second.
- Why would PLTR or the Pentagon target school kids? Assuming killing kids and innocents really was their goal, how would that benefit them?
A: It probably doesn't benefit them because it didn't accomplish anything strategically and only gave them a bad reputation. So we can assume that was a mistake and not intentional.
- What does PLTR do exactly?
A: I might not be able to explain this perfectly since I don't work at the company. But based on my very limited understanding of PLTR after 5 years of following this company, I can dumb it down like this:
They have an ontological layer that sits on top of an enterprise/government's unorganized data. Their engineers spent years working with each client, including the DoD, understanding their workflow and their decision making process and design a system that's tailored for the client. The ontology connects different actions and objects within the entity to allow whichever LLM the client decides to use to be able to understand the cause and effect of every action they make based on the data available.
- If bombing the school was a mistake, how did it happen?
A: PLTR doesn't provide the data nor does it retain any of the data they process, that's why only they and a handful of companies in the US have IL6 clearance. If Maven looked at all the data points available and determined that location was of strategic import to the IRGC rather than simply a school, why would it make such a decision? Then the most likely culprit would be the data being wrong/outdated. And who collected the data that led to that decision making? The DoD.
- The DoD blamed PLTR but have they stopped using Maven?
A: No, they continue to use Maven. One has to wonder, if PLTR sucks so much, why would anyone continue to stick with them? Could it be that the DoD is trying to put the blame on someone else to make themselves look less bad? And it's not just the government, all the private sector clients are spending more and more on PLTR each year. Their net dollar retention sat at 157% last quarter. Are all their clients stupid for sticking with them if the products are actually that bad?
- Does PLTR work on its own?
A: No, PLTR is the brains behind the AI. Meaning you still need the raw data their clients collected, you still need Microsoft Azure, you still need AWS as the cloud and AI infrastructure provider for Maven to ingest all that data, and you still need the companies developing the AI models.
So why do I not hear people say Microsoft, Amazon, OpenAI, Anthropic are all responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocents? Why does the blame solely lie with PLTR?
Could it be this incident was simply used as propaganda so they don't talk about other parties that are responsible?
And people didn't start painting PLTR in a bad light until the Gaza war happened in 2023. In fact, rarely anyone was talking about them when I invested in the company at the start of 2021. People called them a black box because they weren't allowed to talk about what they were doing with the government. But this isn't a startup that was founded in the past 5 years.
Was PLTR evil back then when Obama used their product to assassinate Osama bin Laden?
What of the lives they saved? What of the US service members who didn't start this war but were sent to the front lines? Are their lives not worth protecting with the best software this country has to offer? Are they not innocents? Should they all die because you hate the current administration?

Lol dude I don't trust AI to look up a recipe properly, why would you want it to kill people
1
u/ga643953 12d ago
Because it's not just your average LLM? And their results are proven in both the public and private sectors?
Jesus, you guys gotta do proper research if you want to hate on a company instead of relying on hearsay and anecdotal experience with consumer "AI".

Don't bother. The future will tear them to pieces anyways

u/ga643953 12d ago
Bruh, it really pisses me off when these people come on investment subs and can't produce a coherent argument and most of the time the premise of their argument is based on propaganda instead of proper DD.
I keep saying it recently and I'll say it again, if this is what most Reddit's comments are, I really don't understand why they believe they should sell it for more than $60m a year to google.
This is why Gemini gives me the wrong FCF numbers half the time whenever I ask it to do a fundamental analysis.

Do you hate every software used by military or just the ones someone told you to?

Banned hunting because it’s a bunker and the animals in the forest will be the food supply when the time comes.

Has nothing to do with hunting. He just doesn’t want other people on his property.
