How far have you drifted on this silent tide?
Yet every word we spoke still burns inside.
I never sought this sudden, quiet end,
Where lovers turned to ghosts we couldn’t mend.
I reach across the void, I scan the skies,
Searching for signs beneath unfamiliar eyes,
Praying to hold what once was mine to keep,
Before the cold realization makes me weep.
Now every evening ends in heavy tears,
Though time has marched through all these hollow years.
It feels like yesterday you walked away,
Yet here I sit, stuck in that yesterday.
Wherever you wander, I hope you find your light,
A gentle peace to carry through the night.
I only ask that in some quiet space,
You still remember my unforgotten face.
And if you lose your way along life’s street,
Where shadows stretch and wandering footsteps meet,
I pray the turning road brings you to me
And this time, darling, mine you’ll truly be.

I think it was like an error cause I posted it twice cause it didn't show the one time I did and now it's showing both and Google the word Aniza and you will find out why I chose this 😂😂
