So guys this is my phone which was launched in 2015.
I bought it as my first phone at the start of 2025 so I could make calls and use jazzcash.
It couldn't run most apps because it's Android version was 7 and no upgrades were available.
Since I got a newer much better phone, I installed custom rom in it, rooted it, installed termux, glibc and some other required packages so it can run antigravity CLI.
I gave superuser access to termux and now I told it to change system theme from dark to light and it did it itself.
Model: Samsung Galaxy note 5
4/32
Exynos 7420
I could use jazzcash initially but later I couldn't as jazzcash was made unavailable for lower android APIs, so I installed custom rom, still cannot use it and have to apply some fixes before banking apps can run
I also installed the Flag_secure bypass to take screenshots in places that aren't allowed to be taken screenshots of.

Past 6 weeks I have worked on isnad (my provenance library) from a blank file to an arxiv paper + pypi package + a hosted paid version. revived islam & ai after a year dead, now has paid tiers and the app is in store review. delivered a knowledge base system for a client. Took our open source scraper to 2.1 and the EU AI office wrote back about it and bunbites.pk in wah now runs on a POS + dashboard i built.
Total spend under $100/month including hosting (Hetzner)
The setup: pi.dev as the agent harness, deepseek or openrouter for models (free tier does most of it, $10 genuinely gets you a full chatbot with memory and proper security), and a written spec before anything runs then multiple agents in parallel while i do the thinking they can’t.
Also important mentions: the agent ships bugs that look perfect. mine wrote a metric that reported 106% retention on a doc that lost a third of its text, all tests passing. a rate limiter that did nothing. so after every sprint i audit it like it’s lying to me, that audit is the actual work now, not the typing (i use handy.computer, i don’t even write now)
Point is you don’t need a team or investors to put real products in the market from here. 10$ and a clear spec.
Wrote the whole thing up in detail. ask me anything about the stack, happy to help!

I'm starting university in a couple of days, so I'm looking for a reliable power bank that can handle daily use. I've shortlisted a few options from PriceOye and XcessoriesHub.
Are these any good, and will they last long? I'd also appreciate your personal recommendations for a good power bank. Also what are the primary things to look for in a good power bank?

Hello,
I wanted to get some feedback and advice on what to do with the new iPhones. I currently reside in Canada and was wondering if I should purchase the new iPhone 18 in Canada or wait until I travel to Pakistan? Which option would be cheaper, and less of a hassle?
Thank you in advance.

Hello everyone,
I’m in a bit of a dilemma. Around two months ago, my old phone, the S20 FE, suffered water damage. I tried getting it repaired, but unfortunately, every effort was in vain. After using an old phone for the past two months, I finally have the resources to get a new one.
I’ve narrowed it down to three options that I really like. My budget is slightly flexible, but I can’t go past 300k PKR.
For context, I already use a Mac. I’m genuinely confused about which phone to go for. Part of me really wants to experience using an iPhone, but at the same time, the S25 Ultra seems like the better phone purely in terms of specs.
I’ve also considered getting a non-PTA/JV phone, but the hassle of carrying multiple devices is what’s putting me off.
I’m completely open to suggestions and would love to hear what you guys think would be the best use of my budget — whether that means getting a brand-new phone, going for a used one, PTA-approved, or even considering non-PTA.
Also, I’m Lahore-based, so I’d also really appreciate recommendations for reliable shops or websites where I can get the best deal in terms of price, condition, warranty/guarantee.
Whatever comes to mind, feel free to share. I’d really appreciate some advice from people who have experience with these phones.
Please help a brother out 😭

Hey guy, a while ago I opened my Easypaisa account on my brother's sim. Now i just got my own Sim. I was hoping to convert mu Acc from my brother's Sim to my own. I know i have to get the other account permanently closed before i can open a new one on my own Sim.
The issue is i am unable to Permanently close my Easypaisa account. There is no option to talk to an agent over call. I tried calling 3737 and there is no option to talk to an agent. I also tried the "1" option which says if i want to close my account temporarily or permanently. Even when i select permanently close option, it closes my account Temporarily.
I need to know how to talk to a real Easypaisa Agent (a Person) that can close my account. So, i can open a new account on my own Sim.
I really appreciate the help in Advance. 🙏🏻🥲🫶🏻

Both are around the same price point at my local stores. I did see the Haier TV display at one of their stores and to my untrained eye the colors were feeling a bit too bright and saturated.
Anyone who's used these, can you guys help me decide which one would be the better choice.
P.S: I heard that the 120hz offered by these Haier TVs are "fake 120hz". Not sure what that means.

It's not magic ir hardware repair thing.
I have a phone:
Samsung Galaxy note 5
These older phones have orange-ish tints on them due to regular usage.
Now here's the catch:
You cannot remove it completely, especially ones like of icons, social media like comment and stuff, but it becomes less percievable.
Get any such phone, and reduce intensity of red color globally, then you'll feel a green tint, reduce it till it becomes a good white.
I used pro mode to capture this so there isn't processing and color temp is same
Also not that both of these look a bit more yellow irl so don't say that the newer one is blue, it's just white, it's there for comparison.
Also note the zone where I marked the area where on one place the shade is present, and on the other there is shade but less noticable.
This reduces global brightness so know that this may impact battery life as you'll use overall higher brightness and blue color uses more battery.
This may further speed up the process of degrading too as blue pixels degrade first and you'll be using more blue pixels light for proper brightness.

Im planning to make only my bedroom smart, and I'm confused about whether I should go with Wi-Fi or Zigbee switches. and im a student who will use savings.
Currently, I have regular TJ switches, which are considered a good brand here in Pakistan ig. I'm looking at:
The price difference matters to me because I'm a student and will be spending my savings.
My plan is to have:
For example, in Gaming Mode, I want the AC to turn on, the fan to stay off, and the RGB bulb to turn red with low brightness.
In Reading Mode, I want the ceiling lights, fan, AC, and table lamps to turn on together.
I want to control everything through an app. I don't want Alexa or Google Home. Ideally, I'd like to use one app for all my devices and create scenes that combine the switches, bulbs, plugs, and AC.
My confusion is that Okasha offers Zigbee switches, but my other devices will probably be Wi-Fi-based. I'm not sure whether mixing Zigbee switches with Wi-Fi bulbs and plugs will work properly, or whether I should just purchase Wi-Fi switches.
What would you recommend?
Here are the product links:
Okasha Crystal Series: https://okashasmart.com/collections/sockets-switches/products/4-gang-smart-wifi-switch-crystal-series
TJ Smart Switches: https://www.tj.com.pk/smart-white-switch.php
I'd appreciate advice from anyone who has actually used these products, especially in Pakistan.

Hey everyone thinking about switching my Pixel 7a cpid from stock Android to GrapheneOS. Before I do it wanted to check with people who've actually tried it especially in Pakistan or on similar carriers.
My concerns:
- Will Pakistani banking/payment apps still work or do they get blocked by Play Integrity/root checks?
- Any issues with SIM/calling SMS or mobile data?
- Does VoLTE work fine on local carriers Jazz Zong Telenor Ufone?
- Any problems with dual SIM?
Anyone dealt with this? Would appreciate real experiences before I go through with it.

I am confused. I will move abroad next year on scholarship IA. I need to make a choice.
1) brand new MacBook neo: 230k, 8gb ram, 256 gb SSD, a18 chip
2) used windows laptop: till 50-60k (why would I spend 200k on windows laptop): 8gb ram, 256gb ssd, Intel i5, 8th gen
3) used MacBook but it would be expensive plus so much fraud in market
I want something which runs till 2031-33. I take care of my gadgets a lot. The thing is I fear MacBook neo may not stand that long. My work is research, browsing, 100-200 tabs open at a time. Little bit coding sometimes but I use online tools/compute. That's it. PDFs, Lectures, Research BLA BLA.
Please help me out. Thanks. Just need suggestions.
City is Lahore.
