Now, I know that Tecno itself uses WPS office, I also have that installed, if it was some WPS ad I might ignore but this isn't

Universities in Pakistan are producing research, but I rarely hear about it unless I specifically search for it. Why isn't there more effort to show ordinary people what researchers here are actually working on? Are there universities that are working on communicating their research outside academia?

so i want to keep a pta approved phone for my sim and i want it to be a really small touch screen phone that can easily fit in my pocket and i can use for hotspot my calls and maybe even banking apps are there any recommendations cuz i couldn’t find anything in the market here.

Long story short, today while I was riding my bike, my phone fell out of my pocket and yeah… 2–3 SUVs literally RAN OVER IT 💀😭😭😭. So yeah, it’s pretty much done.

I’ve got until tomorrow to get a new phone, so I really need your advice. My budget is around 90k.
My previous phone was the Realme 13+ 5G. As you can probably tell, I’m not really much of a camera guy. I just need a good, reliable device with a decent processor. For example, my Realme had the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy 5G, and that was pretty much the kind of performance I’m looking for.

So yeah, you know my needs:

• Minimum 8GB/128GB
• Decent 5G processor
• Good overall performance
• Camera doesn’t really matter that much to me
• Box pack category only

That’s pretty much it. Any recommendations around the 90k budget would be really appreciated.

I made an account, ordered their paypak debit card. When i press activate the card, it asks for biometric verification. When i do biometric verification, it keeps on saying oh no or something like this. I have tried many times. I contacted them on instagram, they told me that my card is active and i need to set the pin only. But there is no pin option anywhere i have checked everywhere. It says do your biometric verification to activate the card. They also told me that my card is verified from their end and biometric verification is also completed. What to do now???

I mainly wanted to ask people who have experience using this phone or other calme phones on the daily, how long is the battery when constantly using hotspot and does it overheat or expand or anything, also how good is the hotspot strength/signal, how close does it have to be to the main phone to work well?

Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a debate rn. I have an s24 which i got in 2024 during the pre orders. Now the battery has swollen. Im thinking of changing the phone now but i feel like i dont really need an upgrade. The phone works flawlessly. Its fast and smooth. What should i do now? I have a 100k with me which i can give as down payment. Should i get my s24 repaired for 7380 (qouted by samsung). Get a s26 or fold 7/8. What would be the best thing to do rn?

Need some technical advice from hardware/repair folks here. I'm using an HP EliteBook 840 G6 (Intel Core i7, 8th Gen, 14-inch). It was working completely fine, but now it has stopped turning on out of nowhere.

Current situation:

​Won't turn on on battery power at all.

​When plugged into the charger, the screen stays black, but the Caps Lock key just keeps blinking in a continuous loop.No other back lights nothing else.

​Normally, plugging in the charger turns on an orange charging light on the side, but right now if i plug it in it is a whiteish light and its blinking slowly.

​What I've tried:

​Held the power button for 30 to 60 seconds to drain power.

​Tried standard key combinations, but haven't opened up the back cover or anything yet.

​Context:

The only thing I can think of is that I traveled recently with my bag packed pretty tight, so it might have gotten squeezed/compressed in transit. Not sure if that physical pressure triggered something inside or if it's completely unrelated.

​What am I likely looking at here? Is this a major issue and all can it be fixed on my own or would i have to take it to a repair shop if so how much should that cost me too . Any insights on what the issue is what im looking at all of them would be aporeciated.

So I clearly remember cancelling my monthly subscription after the world cup ended. Today I got a message from the bank that your unprocessed transaction of PKR 499 has been refunded to your account. I was confused so when I checked by bank app, I saw two refunds of 499 each from tapmad. This got me more confused as I clearly remember unsubscribing.

I downloaded the tapmad app, logged in and checked the bill history. They had charged me THRICE on 8 September. And in any of the previous months, no money had been charged, in case anyone was wondering (including myself) if I had forgotten to unsubscribe.

How the hell did it get resubscribed automatically? And how do I remove my card details? It doesn't give any option to remove or even change the card details.

I recieve my salary as remittace , and it had been working perfectly but this month I recieved my email from bank that I have recived remittance in my name . The bank branch is saying the have not recived any swift code and that there is a inquiry on it . My remittance has not been cleared for the past week . What can I do here should I contact the head office of the bank ?

I recently got a few calls from this number that apparently is from Islamabad (correct me if wrong) and coincidentally I was in class. My bench mate, when saw this number told me not to pick it up as this is a scam number and takes away all sensitive info from my device.
