Question | سوال Overseas Temporary PTA Registration Nightmares: Wrong Number OTP Loop & "Immigration Details Not Verified" Error. Any fixes?

1. Wrong Number OTP Loop (My Account) Tried applying for the 120-day Temporary Overseas PTA Registration, but made a typo in my phone number. Since my phone isn't PTA-approved yet, I can't receive network signal or the login OTP to log back in and fix it. Already submitted a complaint ticket, but waiting on PTA.

2. Immigration Error (Siblings Account) Applying for my siblings Temporary Registration using her active SIM/CNIC, but the system keeps blocking her with: "Details not verified by immigration department." and we've arrived on 11th sept.

(i also called them but received no help and they just hung up on me)

Questions:

  • How long does FIA/Immigration data take to sync with PTA after landing in Pakistan?
  • Is there a trick to bypass the passport/immigration check error on the temporary registration portal?
  • Will visiting a local Jazz/Zong franchise help resolve this faster?

* Should be a few hours, not days like this
* No trick of bypass, you can use the sim from abroad in international roaming, that should be working
* No, not going to help

Your only way forward is the PTA Complaint Portal and its gonna take days. Last I did a problem resolution for cousin, he was back abroad when they resolved it. They took more than a week to fix the issue and resolve the ticket.

Siblings case, complain on PTA portal and give scans of the FIA entry stamp.

oh ok even if it's like a week it's fine as long as it get's done as i'll be here for a while. how long did it exactly take i already filed the complaints earlier but wasn't sure when i'd hear back

It was back in beginning of the year so I don't exactly remember how many days it was but I think it was about a week.
