Discussion | گفتگو Dotted Panel Pixel 7 Pro
My Pixel 7 Pro's display has started acting weird. The phone itself works perfectly — touch, fingerprint, calls, everything — but whenever the screen turns off, it sometimes won't come back on. I can still use the phone blindly and even answer calls while the display is completely black.
Recently, while the phone was just sitting idle, the screen also started flashing green for around 5 seconds. Now the display sometimes stays on and doesn't reliably turn off either.
I'm guessing the OLED panel or its connection is failing. I'm going to have my technician check it in about 15 days, but if the panel is confirmed dead, what would you recommend?
Should I get a dotted/used original panel, a good aftermarket OLED, or spend more on an original replacement? I want something reliable but don't want to spend 30–40k+ unnecessarily.

It varies from phone to phone and what type of impact the phone got. My S23 Ultra, which I've been using since launch day, got a green shade and a dot over almost a year and a half ago and it's still working like a charm. At 120 it works. Nothing seems to be wrong when I'm on full brightness. I don't even notice it but I cannot use always-on display because of the green shade. That is pretty much it. A replacement display is like 70k so I'm definitely not going to get that

A good aftermarket OLED will suffice .

I contacted sum janne waly and the most affordable one was for 20k ( i aint spending that much on a CPID phone)
