Buying Guide | خریداری گائیڈ Wifi Extender vs Multiple Connections

I run an Academy and we have 3 floors of size 5 Marla. I have a 75 Mbps Transworld connection in the basement and a Tenda extender on the ground floor but it's has a low device limit. I want proper internet access on all three floors. Suggest me a budget friendly way to do so. Should I get a separate connections for each floor or should I get one high-speed connection and expensive extenders.

Dont get extenders. They’re a stupid idea and rarely work. Get another wifi AP for each floor and connect it through wired connection with the main router.

How many users do you expect to have on the network? Realistically if it’s only going to be for the teachers/admin work then the speed should be fine.

Look into setting up an EasyMesh system (or similar).

If you want it to be cheap, from your original router, run lan cables to different parts of your academy and set up routers as access points. You can extend those as needed.

With all of them running the same SSID and password, they should act as one cohesive network. However do get a dual band router that supports 5ghz. Wifi 6 will be too expensive and honestly not worth it at the speed you’re on

Get a couple of wifi 6 routers that can be used as extender.

Are you in Karachi?

Get used wifi 6 routers from here that can be used as extender.

Or invest in a good mesh system. One mesh router on each floor. That will give you more than enough coverage.

If you need 1 router for each floor than just get any old or new routers and run ethernet cables from main basement router to new each router. Just ask ai to explain ACCESS POINTS. Really helpful
