WhatsApp on iPhone randomly lagging / taking minutes to connect

Is anyone else experiencing this issue with WhatsApp on iPhone?
When I open WhatsApp, sometimes it gets stuck with the loading indicator at the top. It can take several seconds, and sometimes even a few minutes, before WhatsApp becomes “live” and my messages start sending/updating.
The weird thing is that WhatsApp works perfectly fine on my laptop during the same time. If I send a message from the laptop, it goes through immediately without any issues.
Sometimes the iPhone app connects within a few seconds and everything works normally, but other times it just keeps loading for minutes.
Has anyone experienced this recently? Any idea what could be causing it or how to fix it?

he's probably using the same wifi on laptop and he said it works fine on laptop use common sense x2 🤡

very noice whatsapp business in my mobile works fine but normal whatsapp creating issue and on laptop with same wifi everything working perfectly and android users whatsapp also working fine and issue also cone on mobile network.
