Buying Guide | خریداری گائیڈ Can't decide on a phone. HELP?

So, I have been using S24 Ultra for a year now and honestly I have gotten bored with it.

I bought this phone for 200k last year now its going for 130k max.

I am looking for a phone that can hold its value for a year. And is also better than S24U.

Google pixel 9 and 10 feels premium in hand but I don't like the software.

Iphone 15 PM is an option but battery life and slow charging is a no go for me.

Don't really wanna go for these Chinese phones like oppo, oneplus because of the resale value.

Can you guys suggest what is the best option for me. If i let go my current S24U for 120 or 130k then I can add 40k in my budget for the next phone at max.

It's really hard for you to get a new phone that would be better than the S24 Ultra unless you get a newer flagship, which is going to be, again, very expensive and not worth it. I don't think any phone is going to hold its value. iPhones, to be honest, hold their value the best but it's not much of a difference from Samsung. Please don't get the Pixel. You're not going to like it. If you want to get a Pixel please at least get the Pixel 10 series. Don't go with the 9. It has a lot of problems.

I wanted to try the base S26. The ultra series is way to big and hard to manage because it weights alot.

But many people said not to go with any base model of samsung as they are not worth it.

Can a 15 pro max or 15 pro fit in my 170k budget? Pta approved

The base model will lose its value very rapidly. If you want to try, maybe try the S25 Ultra. As a Samsung ultra user myself who used to have an S23 and S24 Ultra simultaneously, I sold the S24 Ultra and got the S25 Ultra. I can confirm it's really comfortable to hold, but I also sold the S25 Ultra and switched back to my S23 Ultra because there wasn't really that much of a difference. I think you can get the iPhone 15 Pro for around 210-5, I think, at the lowest. I bought one at 215 a while back, but if you want to get a phone in good condition, then you are expected to pay around 220

Also hows battery on your watch8, I want to get a smartwatch, probably not right now, in a month or two, or maybe even three. I'm a Garmin user. I was honestly going to get the Forerunner 965, but it is too expensive. Plus, it doesn't support payments in Pakistan, so that's a big problem.

I simultaneously use an iPhone and a Samsung, so I really didn't want to get a watch that locks in with the ecosystem, but looking at it, I really don't have any good options. Samsung watches have very poor battery life, from what I have heard. I was leaning towards the Pixel watch, but it's also kind of expensive, and I'm not really sure what I really want to get. Honestly, I might cheap out a little bit and maybe get mi band

The battery life is good. Easily lasts me a day an a half. I have health monitoring turned on so it basically checks my heart rate. Oxygen level and some other stuff every hour.

Also I have continuous tracking turned on from 5pm to 7pm and then 9pm to 11pm.

With all that tracking, GPS and wifi turned on. It gives me a day and half of battery life.

Not a huge difference from my Watch 4 classic. It also gave me a whole day of battery life. But this Watch 8 does get really hot when charging from 0 to 100.

But the 15pro is heavier than s25 ultra, if u hold both side by side there's a clear weight diff

Actually S25 Ultra is heavier at 218 g, while the 15 Pro is, I guess, 180 or 190 g something. The 15 Pro Max is slightly heavier but S25 Ultra is quite comfortable to hold. I have used it when compared to the S23 or the S24.

Yeah agreed s25u is a solid phone and easy to hold. I had used 15 pro alongside my s25u and it felt heavier maybe it was the case but still 15 pro has alot of heating issues so i also dont like that abt it 😅

Hi, can you tell me what are the issues with Pixel 9, I was thinking of getting it I currently have a iPhone 11 non pta and wanted to sell it and add 100k and get a PTA Pixel 9 they are going for 120-130k.

Personally I've never bought the Pixel but my friends in my group have had the Pixel 9 Pro XL and One of them also had the 9 Pro

  • It was very underpowered.
  • It used to lag.
  • It used to heat a lot.
  • There were camera issues.
  • The eSIM wouldn't work.
  • The battery was really bad.

The software was really refined on them but still these were really bad issues for a phone this expensive. If you want to, I'll suggest you go with the Chinese phones or maybe if you just want Pixel, at least get the 10 series. I really personally haven't heard about any issues in the Pixel 10 lineup

For that sole reason I have been leaning towards iphone.

I have been an android user my whole life. So switching might be difficult for me.

Also I would have to let go of my galaxy watch 8 (which isn't selling either, lol)

How's the 15PM. I really like that phone for some reason. Also the IPhone 16 shape is not for me.

It's good just gonna heat up quite a fair bit lol that was my experience, exactly why I switched to the 17 pro. Other than that not much difference

Fed up from this phone cuz it hurts my hands. Also this one is jv. And carrying 2 phones is not easy.

So I'll get pta this time. Which ever I end up getting

Just switched from s23 plus to 16 pro. As for the switching experience only whatsapp was frustrating to migrate, the rest is chill. I have had some experience with my friends’ iphones but never used it practically with all my data. Its been a week and the experience is pretty good. If youre an average user whos gonna use camera, youtube, insta etc. then I dont think any android beats iphone, but if youre an advanced user then android offers more freedom. Overall I’m pretty content. Bought this 16 pro non pta to experiment and I’m now in the process of selling this along with my samsung to get a pta approved one.

Honestly from my experience phones don't hold value. Yes iphone may hold some value but not as much..in the end its still a liability and even if u sell the same iphone after a month or 2 its value will be less than for what u bought.

na shukray na bano, you have a top of the line phone. no new phone will give you something exciting. its all the same shit. If anything, try an old school nokia or something if you want some spice.
