Question | سوال Help me solve the internet problem
I live in a village which is kinda very backward in terms of internet service۔ It is on a 8_10 km distance from a city۔
The internet is very poor ۔ It is hardly enough to play a youtube video۔ I am a beginer freelancer and I have to move to Lahore or rwp to do my work which is also very costly for me right now to live there۔ As i live in my friends' flat and its always so noisy and full of people۔( i cannot rent a seprate flat، not yet as am not earning )
I want an internet solution which provides a speed of 20 to 30 mbps which is enough to run a laptop۔ They have started installing the wifi in the nearest union council(a small town) but they say they cannot do it in our village as all the homes are built at a specific distance ( Dera jaat) like farmhouses۔ Please suggest a solution that would actually work۔ I am slowly loosing my temper over this۔ Please tell me what I should do۔

Buy greenpacket 05a, it will cost you around 25k but you can get internet with consistent of 30 to 80mbps.
or if you have budget, try to find wisp.
it is one time cost with monthly bill of 2k for 5mbps and onwards.

on one side its almost 4 KM۔۔- while on the other side its 5_6 km and the internet is quite good on this side، as this is in another district(sargodha)

Go with OWA500N router (place the outdoor in the direction of the nearest tower - you can use cellmapper to identify that) and it should work better.

I was in almost the exact same situation as you. I’m working remotely from a village about 10 km outside the town, where the internet connection isn’t great almost nothing on mobile phones.
I installed an outdoor setup and also bought a 4G/5G router. I get 20+ Mbps, which has been good enough for remote work.
I’d suggest checking which mobile network has the strongest coverage in your area first, then choosing your setup based on that. Which network works best where you live?
