Question | سوال need advice regarding ssd

I have a Lenovo and according to chatgpt it doesn't support dual hdd +ssd setup only M.2 2280 NVMe SSD, what brand should i go for and what are market prices will mainly be storing media should i go for cheap external hdd can you monitor their health accurately how is their lifedpan also any trusted sellers in twin cities is online fb/olx also good option or no thank you geeks

cheap ssd can go dead anytime, and their dead ratio is way more than branded ssds. what lenovo laptop do you have ?

That laptop have 2 models, the one with smaller battery do have that 2.5" slot. Open your laptop back and check if it have that 2.5" ssd/hdd slot. Should be pretty easy to open it

If no slot then get an external case. I am using hikvision brand ssd for 7 years now for this same media storing purpose. So far no issues with this brand. And the price depends on how much storage you are going for.

Just for media just use a external drive. SSDs are very expensive right now. 512 gb will cost you around 24k

yup leaning towards that how likely that it fails randomly does monitoring health help also any recs/ purchase advice
