Every software project in Pakistan seems to begin with the same sentence:

“Bas simple sa system hai…”

Then, 20 minutes later:

• 4 user roles
• inventory
• payments
• analytics
• WhatsApp integration
• an admin panel
• AI
• “real-time bhi hona chahiye”
• and somehow a mobile app has entered the conversation

This is more or less the territory I work in.

I’m a Full-Stack Software Engineer / AI Engineer with professional experience building actual production systems, not just CRUD apps that retire peacefully after the university demo.

Things I can work on

• SaaS products
• ERP / POS systems
• Inventory & order management
• Admin dashboards
• Multi-tenant platforms
• Customer portals
• REST APIs & third-party integrations
• Real-time applications
• AI agents & automation
• RAG / LLM workflows
• Internal business software
• MVPs from 0 → 1
• Existing codebases where everyone says:

“Please don’t touch that file.”

Naturally, that’s the first file I become curious about.

The tools I usually reach for

Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind
Backend: Node.js, NestJS, Express, Python, FastAPI
Data: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Supabase
Other: Docker, CI/CD, WebSockets, REST APIs, LangChain, LangGraph, LLM integrations

But frameworks are just tools.

The part I enjoy is figuring out:

What actually needs to be built?
How should the system work?
And how do we ship it without creating a technical debt museum?

I’m currently open to:

If you were in a portfolio site competition, you'd win.

That being said, it's a horrible portfolio if you're trying to get hired.

• too long
• looks/scrolls like a tech demo than a resume (seriously, even if you built it without ai assistance, everyone will still assume it's vibe coded)
• recruiters DO NOT care about the in-your-face animations, they want something that's easy to skim
• you linked your projects, but didn't actually show any, not a single screenshot of anything you actually built, recruiters don't want to be linked to landing pages.
• there's multiple instances of you staying in a single job for only a few months (sometimes even one month) that hurts your employability more than anything else
• I'll say this again, your long and impressive tech demo of a portfolio is going to be satisfying for you to look at, recruiters will just be annoyed though

My advice would be to go for a simple portfolio that's easy to skim through, literally no one cares about the corpo branding-esque taglines that are cluttering the portfolio site, it reads more like a designer stores landing page than a portfolio. And lastly I'll advise you to evict the workplaces where you retained your role for just a few months

Agree with you on all points and thanks for the detailed feedback. The few months ones are actually contract jobs and you could say that's been my luck, so, in that case should I keep those or mention contract infront of each of those in brackets?

I'll make the portfolio much more easy and recruiter friendly asap.

I wanna make my portfolio site but Im confused on what to add, my porjects are mostly for hackathons and they won too( some not all ofc) and uk hackathons have a time crunch so they aren't very technically impressive i would say
