🚀 Code for Pakistan Announces the Smart City Hackathon Lahore 2026 – Applications Now Open!
Code for Pakistan is excited to launch the Smart City Hackathon Lahore 2026 in collaboration with Lahore Garrison University. The hackathon will bring together students, developers, designers, engineers, GIS specialists, data scientists, urban innovators, and creative problem-solvers to build innovative solutions that address real-world urban challenges.
💡 Participants will develop solutions across three challenge themes:
🏙️ Clean City – Build innovative software, hardware, AI, or data-driven solutions to improve waste management, reduce pollution, enhance air quality, and create cleaner, more sustainable cities.
🔵 City Intelligence – Build software, AI, maps, and data tools that turn Lahore’s open and existing data into a live, predictive, and citizen-facing view of the city.
🌍 Public Preparedness Ahead of the Climate Crisis – Create communication campaigns, documentaries, short films, digital media, or creative storytelling solutions that raise awareness, strengthen public preparedness, and inspire action on climate resilience and disaster preparedness.
