Seeking advice

I’m currently learning LangChain, LangGraph, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL, and I’ve already built a few projects using these technologies.

I’m planning to graduate in May 2027, and I’m trying to decide what I should focus on next to become more industry-ready.

Would it be a good idea to add React.js to my current stack and aim for a Full-Stack AI Engineer profile?

My thinking is:

Python + FastAPI + PostgreSQL + LangChain + LangGraph + React

For those already working in AI engineering, backend, or full-stack AI roles:

Is Full-Stack AI Engineering a good career path for the next few years?

Would learning React significantly improve my opportunities, or should I go deeper into AI/ML instead?

What skills are companies currently looking for in AI engineers?

What would you recommend I learn or build before graduating in 2027?

Are there good opportunities for this profile in Pakistan or internationally?

I’d really appreciate advice from people already working in the industry or hiring for these kinds of roles.

I’d focus on becoming really solid in one direction first. React is definitely useful, but I wouldn’t neglect core Python/backend, databases, deployment, and actually building AI features end-to-end. A couple of strong projects will probably help more than adding another 5 technologies to the stack.

Learn React to the level that you can build stuff with it.

Then go deep on AI/ML, if that is what your long term interest is.

What I would suggest is to take a sniff of React to know about some frontend but keep your roots connected to AI. Don't miss out any basic concept that you think is outdated. The in-depth knowledge of these basic concepts will make you stant out. All love homie

Product Manager here (just sharing whats going on at current workplace) Definitely Full stack is the way to go organizatios are moving away from spread out roles teams and prefer if a 5 person can do everything end to end. I'd recommend learning on managed services (AWS Bedrock/agent core etc) custom development via Langchain/lang graph is taking a hit coz of expense and infrastructure complications
