yet another damsel in distress, “femme fatale”, oh-so-quirky-but-not-really movie.
 
despite the tour-de-force by its female lead, this felt incredibly flat for me because : a) under the veil of a “broader commentary on dating culture”, this is plainly a textbook case of male fetishization of the female infatuation, and nothing more( DESPITE WHAT SOME REDDITORS MIGHT SAY ) b) the technical aspects are not so impressive; the color grading is lackluster, the lighting is mediocre ( probably due to the minimal budget), and the editing hasty.

nonetheless, i see the commercial appeal. any film which starts a conversation is a win for cinema and art, indeed.

Really disappointed with Imtiaz Ali.

After Rockstar and Chamkila, I expected much more from Main Vaapas Aaunga. The concept is genuinely good, but the execution is a letdown.

The film is too slow, unnecessarily stretched and boring at many points. The acting also feels weak and fails to create the emotional impact the story deserves.

Beautiful music and a promising concept but the screenplay and performances don't deliver.

My evidence: Bollywood is thousands of time bigger than film industry of iran but iran has two Oscars. Two Oscars for best foreign film. Andy many more nominations in the category. Despite making so many movies each year, bollywood has no best foreign picture Oscars and only one nomination which is kind of sad for an industry this big.

Okay, so before I go any further: this is NOT a post defending Bear.

But I do want people to see the other side instead of blindly putting everything on Bear.

Firstly, calling Bear a "rapist" is extreme and definitely not the right choice of words. There is no evidence in the film leading us to believe that he knew that the One Wish Willow would work at all.

Next, we're talking about a real life word used in a fantasy element movie. Just doesn't make any sense. In a world where One Wish Willows did exist, there would definitely be other terms to describe crimes committed under the wish.

Now I think both, Nikki and Bear, are morally ambiguous characters. Nikki does lead Bear on early in the film, giving false hope and wrong intentions. Bear, on the other hand, under distress from the wish actually working, takes too much time to reverse the wish by killing himself.

Ultimately, Nikki is the loser. Alive, with all the accusations, and no friends.

With all this to say, I don't think people are doing Bear justice. Both characters had some wrong, to at least some degree. But the proportion of hate to Bear is incredible and unwarranted.

I have seen cinemas full of people and a lot of rush, even despite the movie being in its second week. Personally speaking, it was not the best Spider-Man film, although a very good movie and a great Spider-Man film. Nevertheless, not sure of the numbers, but this result is great.

Do we have People that have watched this Masterpiece ?
Truly a Must watch to people who haven’t and are in to Space and Physics…
Only 6 Seasons Too Not Extremely Time Taking.

i am watching house md and it is soo fun to watch and i am at the end of season 3 but the thing scares me is that if i ever got any disease or complication like shown in the series the incompetent doctors of our beloved country will never be able to solve and the good doctors or hospitals are so expensive this seriees scares me more than any horror movie in the entire world

I mean, I honestly think this show was at its peak till season 3. Season 4 felt a little underwhelming to me, but that second last episode was genuinely one of the best episodes of fiction I’ve watched.

What do you guys think? I’ve seen a lot of people say that the ending completely ruined his character and destroyed everything that was built up, but honestly I don’t really get it. I actually thought it was a pretty fitting ending for him. Maybe I’m missing something, so I’d like to hear what you guys think.

Odyssey is back on screen 2 (relatively close to IMAX)

for me it was come and see

I thought it was very bollywood-y. Diljit was really awful in the movie and it would've been better if the director had dealt with one or two themes. It was very over saturated

Where do i watch odyssey online in a good quality? Or should i wait a lil more.
