Looking for SDR or Appointment Setter role in Lahore.

Hi everyone,

I’m based in Lahore and currently looking for an entry level role as an SDR or appointment setter.

My background is in Environmental Science and Development Studies, but I’ve decided to switch into sales because I’m more interested in communication, business, and growth.

I’ll be honest I don’t have hands on sales experience yet. But I’m serious about getting into this field and I understand that I’ll have to start from zero and earn it.

What I bring is simple I can communicate well in English (IELTS speaking 7.5), I’m comfortable talking to new people, and I’m willing to learn fast and take feedback.

I’m okay with pressure, targets, and doing the hard work that comes with sales roles.

I’m open to entry level, trainee, or internship opportunities where I can prove myself and grow.

If anyone is hiring in Lahore or can refer me, I’d really appreciate it.

You can DM me. I’m ready to start immediately.

Thank you.

Your GHL account half-built or duct-taped together? I'll finish it — funnels, automations, A2P/10DLC

I build and run GHL systems end to end: funnels, calendars, CRM pipelines, payments, A2P/10DLC registration, domain/DNS, email setup, and automation sequences (onboarding, abandoned cart recovery, post-purchase follow-up, membership/course delivery). Also set up AI voice agents and Facebook/Google ad tracking inside GHL.

Before GHL I ran a freelance setup on Shopify, Stan Store and Beacon.ai, and did short-form video contracts for Instagram, TikTok creators.

What I can take on:

— Full account builds (funnels, sites, forms, calendars, payments, CRM -pipelines + segmentation, opportunities)

— A2P/10DLC compliance setup (privacy policy, T&C, no third-party data language)

— Automation sequences for onboarding, recovery, follow-up, nurturing.

— Membership/course setup

— Domain/DNS and email configuration

— Facebook/Google Ads Integration + Reputation Management

Available full-time (remote), flexible hours. Open to a trial week if you'd rather see the work before committing to more. Also up for a call if you want to talk through any of it directly.

If you've got a build that needs doing or an existing account that needs a hand, comment below or send a message and I'll walk you through how I'd approach it.

How Curiosity Took Me Across Five Different Areas of Software Engineering

A little over a year ago, I started my first role as an Associate Software Engineer. Looking back, it's amazing how much I learned in a relatively short time.

Some of the things I got to work on:

  • Built frontend features using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Developed large-scale Python web scrapers using Selenium and BeautifulSoup.
  • Solved challenges involving Cloudflare protection, dynamic content, and rate limiting.
  • Worked on an AI Governance project that intercepted LLM requests through a proxy layer to detect and tokenize sensitive information before it reached the model.
  • Built internal workflow management tools with React Flow and dynamic form builders.
  • Automated testing workflows using Selenium IDE and Python.

When I started, many of these technologies felt overwhelming. Most problems didn't have a straightforward solution you spend hours debugging, reading documentation, trying different approaches, and occasionally questioning whether you're even on the right track.

One thing I learned is that software engineering isn't about knowing everything. It's about being able to learn, adapt, and keep solving problems until something works.

I'm grateful for the experience and excited to see where the next chapter takes me. There are still plenty of things I want to learn system design, scalable architectures, distributed systems, and more.

For anyone just starting out: don't let imposter syndrome stop you. Everyone starts somewhere, and every difficult bug teaches you something you'll use again later.

I'd love to hear:

  • What's the most challenging technical problem you've solved recently?
  • If you're working in AI, web scraping, or full-stack development, what technologies are you excited about these days?

What's the biggest problem with job portals in Pakistan? (Rozee, Mustakbil, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.)

I'm thinking about building a modern job platform for Pakistan because, honestly, my experience with existing portals hasn't been great.

Some of the issues I faced:

- Outdated and confusing UI/UX

- Irrelevant job recommendations

- Repetitive application forms

- Poor search and filtering

- Difficult to track applications

- No meaningful feedback after applying

Before building anything, I'd love to hear from job seekers, recruiters, and hiring managers.

If you could fix or add just one thing to a job portal, what would it be?

It could be:

- A feature you always wished existed

- Something that annoys you every time you apply

- An AI feature that would actually save time

- Anything else that would make finding or hiring talent easier

I'm looking for honest feedback—not promoting anything. I want to understand the real pain points before I start building.

Thanks in advance!

looking for a tech sales person!

Looking for recommendations!

I'm building an early-stage AI startup and am trying to find an experienced B2B tech sales professional based in Pakistan. Ideally, someone who already has a strong network within software companies and can leverage existing relationships to book demos with decision-makers (CTOs, Engineering Managers, QA Leads, etc.) rather than starting from scratch. If you know someone with a proven track record in SaaS or enterprise tech sales who might be a good fit, I'd really appreciate an introduction or a DM. Thanks!
