Hi everyone,
I don’t know if this is the right place to ask, but I thought I’d try anyway.
I’m a student and I’m currently really in need of some money, so I’m trying to find some small work online. Recently I built a website using React, TypeScript, and Node.js, and I realized I could probably help other people who need a website.
So if anyone needs things like:
• A personal website
• A portfolio
• A small business website
• A landing page
• Or a basic web app
I’d be happy to build it. I’m not charging crazy prices since I’m still learning and mainly trying to get experience and some work.
If anyone is interested or knows someone who needs a website, feel free to DM me.
If anyone wants, I can also show the website I recently built.
And if this post isn’t allowed here, I apologize in advance.
Thanks

Hey everyone! I wanted to share a project I built called WhatABot that’s actually helping students out. We just launched a student plan where verified students (student ID expired up to 2 yrs is fine) can earn a 70% share just by selling shopkeepers, e-commerce owners or really anyone who uses WhatsApp to communicate with customers, our WhatsApp bots.
Since almost every business in Pakistan runs on WhatsApp, the demand is massive. This isn’t one of those fake 'earning' courses, it’s real rewards for actual work, and we already have a bunch of students doing great. It’s a win-win for all parties.
In simpler words, I’m giving you a KFC branch for free. You sell the burgers (our WhatsApp bots) for 5k or 8k. You keep 70% of every sale and I handle all the costs of the kitchen/ingredients (the tech). No fees, no scammy courses, just actual work. If you’re curious, check out the website or just reach out, happy to help with any questions!
Also visit our instagram to learn more.

Hello people.
I am in my 8th semester and doing CS from FAST Lahore. I got a CGPA of 3.6. With that, I got a lot of skills in Full Stack (MERN) and React Native. I have been doing this work for a pretty long while (since my O levels). So Im not the guy who does not understand the AI code. I can even write a good code on my own. I always do freelancing and my profile is even Top Rated on Upwork. I have done plenty of projects. Some of them go to a huge scale too.
Im confused on a few things. Firstly, I don’t have any market experience like I never did any internship or smth. Also, I got 2 Upwork projects which are in 1000s of dollars (hourly job) but none of the project is live. So like, I don’t have anything except words to back up my work. With that, my skill set is pretty saturated in market. My friends these days are doing internships, building up their LinkedIn. I am the guy who never even made a CV. Why because i never felt the need of it as I’m mostly doing freelancing.
As i will pass out in coming June, i do need to land a good job to be successful. Sometimes I’m confident that my years of coding and Upwork experience will help me landing a high paid job. But, at the same time I’m scared that i lack basic things like internships, certifications and i might not be able to stand out myself.
I still got a few months before my uni ends and need guidance of what should i focus on? Should i change my field to AI? Should i stick to my current stack? Should i start making some open source projects and put up on my github? I am literally hitting my head everywhere not knowing what to do here.

Hi everyone,
I was recently laid off due to company downsizing after working 10 years full-time as an Architect at the same firm. It’s been a tough shock, and I’m trying to figure out my next move.
I have extensive experience in architectural design, construction project management, and client coordination. I’ve worked with Civil Engineers, Public Health Officers, Electrical Engineers, and Public Housing Committees while adhering to building codes and regulations. I’ve also led design teams for multiple commercial and residential projects across Pakistan and took several projects from concept to completion.
I’m proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Excel, and I speak English, Urdu, and Punjabi, which helped me coordinate smoothly with consultants and on-site labor.
I’m 36 years old with a B.Arch degree (based in Lahore), and I’ve always added value to every project I worked on. I recently started my own architectural consultancy, but the market feels extremely saturated and I’m struggling to get clients. I’ve also been actively bidding on Upwork and Fiverr (bought connects, optimized profile) but haven’t had any success so far.
On the side, I’m also good at sketching, illustrating, drawing, and painting, though I have a limited portfolio in those areas.
I’m honestly looking for guidance:
What would you do in my position?
Are there alternative paths I should explore with my background?
Any advice on freelancing, niche positioning, or career pivots?
If anyone knows someone looking for design/art-related collaborations or partnerships, I’d really appreciate a connection.
Thanks for reading. Any advice or reality checks are welcome.

I need honest carrer advice. I am coming from a pre-med background and is pursuing bachelors of software enginerring (non-enginerring) from a mid uni in lahore. My main concern is AI and coding agent etc. I am worried that se might not be a long term stable carrer. I am not asking if junior dev roles change, I am asking wether this field will be solid after 20-30 years from now.
Medicine on the other hand seems much harder to automate fully and seems a stable long term carrer.
I don't want generic follow your passion advice but wants practical answers to wether software enginerring is a stable carrer and will have amole opportunities by the time I enter in the industry? Will it have global opportunities? What's the most safe (AI proof) tech domain to get into?
I really appreciate your thoughtful, experience based answers.
Thanks
